Hindon River is an Indian river in that originates from the Shakumbhari devi range (Upper Sivaliks) in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh and falls into Yamuna river in Noida. Hindon is a tributary of Yamuna and is entirely rainfed, having an approximate catchment area of 7,083 square kilometres (2,735 sq mi). It flows between Ganges and Yamuna rivers for 400 kilometres (250 mi) through Muzaffarnagar district, Meerut district, Baghpat district, Ghaziabad district and Gautam Buddh Nagar district before it joins Yamuna river at Sector-150, Noida. The Hindon Air Force Base of the Indian Air Force also lies on its bank in the Ghaziabad district on the outskirts of Delhi.

Gautam Buddha University ("GBU") (Hindi: गौतम बुद्ध विश्वविद्यालय) is a university established by the Uttar Pradesh Gautam Buddha University Act 2002 (UP Act No. 9 of 2002) and came into existence in 2008. Omega I or Omega 1 (Hindi: ओमेगा 1) is a sector in south-western Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, mostly known for serving the Greenwoods gated society. Bordered by Omega II to the north and Phi I, Phi II and Chi III to the south, it also serves the head office of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). It is named after the Greek letter Omega.

The Gautam Buddha University School of Biotechnology (GBUSOB) is a professional school of the Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida, an industrial and educational hub in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. GBUSOB offers residential under graduate, post-graduate degree programs in Biotechnology that combine teaching with research and awards the Master of Technology (MTech) and Ph.D. degrees.

Bordered by Knowledge Park I to the east, Knowledge Park III to the north and Sector 150, Noida to the west, it serves the Knowledge Park II metro station alongside numerous private and public institutes, including Galgotias College, Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) and Mangalmay Institute of Engineering and Technology.
