The Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka is Sweden's diplomatic mission in Bangladesh. It is located in the Gulshan area of Dhaka. Along with Swedish visas, the embassy represents Schengen visas for Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland and Slovenia.

The current Apostolic Nuncio is Archbishop George Kocherry, who was named to the position by Pope Francis on 6 July 2013. The Apostolic Nunciature to Bangladesh is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church in Bangladesh, with the rank of ambassador. The nuncio serves both as the ambassador of the Pope (as head of state of Vatican City) to the President of Bangladesh, and as delegate and point-of-contact between the Catholic hierarchy in Bangladesh and the Pope (as head of the church). The Holy See established the Apostolic Nunciature to Bangladesh on 2 March 1973.

The High Commission of the United Kingdom in Dhaka is the chief diplomatic mission of the United Kingdom in Bangladesh. It is located on United Nations Road in the Baridhara suburb. The current High Commissioner is Robert Chatterton Dickson who was appointed in March 2019.

Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park, or in short Shahabuddin Park (Bengali: শাহাবুদ্দিন পার্ক), is a park located in the Gulshan 2 area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2008 the lake was named Shahabuddin Ahmed lake, around which the park was founded in 2020 on a 9.45 acres (3.82 ha) of land. The park was named Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park after the former chief justice and president of Bangladesh, Shahabuddin Ahmed. The park houses a small gym, a bookstore, a prayer room and a cafe. The park was a part of the Green Dhaka campeign, in which the main pond was cleaned and various trees were planted; this renovation cost €500,000–2,000,000.

Manarat Dhaka International School & College (MDIC) (from the word منارة manа̄rat "beacon") is a trust-owned school in Gulshan, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It offers British Curriculum from play-group to advanced level, offering GCE O-Level and GCE A-Level examinations, held under the University of Cambridge. Manarat emphasizes moral teachings and etiquette more than textbook knowledge. Manarat encourages its students to learn Arabic from a very young age (upto grade 6). It also stresses Islamic teachings and inspires students to strengthen their iman.The current principal of the school is Brig. Gen (Retd) Md Mehdi Hassan Pramanik, psc and the school's vice principals are Ms. Fatima Jemaima Rahman and Mr. Mohammad Farooque. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the school was closed and classes & exams were taken through the online platform Zoom between March 2020 and March 2022.
