The Gulshan Central Mosque and Iddgah Society (Bengali: গুলশান কেন্দ্রীয় মসজিদ এন্ড ইদ্গাহ সোসাইটি), also called Gulshan Azad Mosque is a Mosque in Gulshan, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established on 18 April, 1976 occupying 6 acres of land. It was designed by architect Mesbah-ul-Kabir. The mosque has the capacity to accommodate over 10,000 devotees at a time. Maulana Shamsul Haque was the khatib of the mosque until 2019. Mahmudul Hasan is the current khatib of this mosque.

The Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka is Sweden's diplomatic mission in Bangladesh. It is located in the Gulshan area of Dhaka. Along with Swedish visas, the embassy represents Schengen visas for Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland and Slovenia.

Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park, or in short Shahabuddin Park (Bengali: শাহাবুদ্দিন পার্ক), is a park located in the Gulshan 2 area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2008 the lake was named Shahabuddin Ahmed lake, around which the park was founded in 2020 on a 9.45 acres (3.82 ha) of land. The park was named Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park after the former chief justice and president of Bangladesh, Shahabuddin Ahmed. The park houses a small gym, a bookstore, a prayer room and a cafe. The park was a part of the Green Dhaka campeign, in which the main pond was cleaned and various trees were planted; this renovation cost €500,000–2,000,000.

Madani Avenue is an urban road situated in Dhaka. Its name came from G.A. Madani, who was chairman of Dhaka Improvement Trust in Pakistan period (currently RAJUK). The road starts from US Embassy in Baridhara is 100 feet wide. Its length is 7 kilometers.A kart racing platform named Go Kart, United City, Chef's Table Courtside and United International University are situated in Madani Avenue.The road widening project was undertaken on September 25, 2016. Under this project the road will be made six lanes and will be extended up to Balu River. In future, people can gain entry from Madani Avenue to Dhaka-Chittagong highway through Purbachal. Future planned MRT Line 5 of Dhaka Metro Rail will have at least a station in Madani Avenue.

Shahabuddin Medical College (Bengali: সাহাবউদ্দিন মেডিকেল কলেজ, Pronounced as Śāhābuddina mēḍikēla kalēja) is a medical college of Bangladesh. It is located at Gulshan of capital city Dhaka. Established in 2003, this institute is one of the private medical colleges of Bangladesh. It offers a program leading to an MBBS degree. The college is affiliated to University of Dhaka.

Manarat Dhaka International School & College (MDIC) (from the word منارة manа̄rat "beacon") is a trust-owned school in Gulshan, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It offers British Curriculum from play-group to advanced level, offering GCE O-Level and GCE A-Level examinations, held under the University of Cambridge. Manarat emphasizes moral teachings and etiquette more than textbook knowledge. Manarat encourages its students to learn Arabic from a very young age (upto grade 6). It also stresses Islamic teachings and inspires students to strengthen their iman.The current principal of the school is Brig. Gen (Retd) Md Mehdi Hassan Pramanik, psc and the school's vice principals are Ms. Fatima Jemaima Rahman and Mr. Mohammad Farooque. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the school was closed and classes & exams were taken through the online platform Zoom between March 2020 and March 2022.
