Port of St. Andrews is a port in Panama City, Florida

Governor Stone is a historic schooner, built in 1877, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States. She is the only surviving two-masted coasting cargo schooner built on the Gulf Coast of the United States, and is only one of five such surviving US-built ships. On 4 December 1991, she was added to the US National Register of Historic Places. One year later, the schooner was designated a US National Historic Landmark. She is presently berthed at Saint Andrews Marina in Panama City, Florida, where she is maintained by a nonprofit group. Sailing tours are regularly scheduled.

In October, 2018, the owner of Newport Schools, Marcus May, was convicted of two counts of racketeering and one count of organized fraud in what the judge described as a "shocking pattern of pervasive theft." As CEO, May created shell companies to secretly position himself as a vendor to his schools, selling it goods at up to three times the fair price. He laundered the money and kept most of the profit. His personal wealth went from about $200,000 in 2010 to $8.9 million in 2015. He spent the money on yachts, luxury cars, houses in Florida and a Rolex. He was convicted by the testimony of 75 witnesses in a three-week trial. The money had come from public education funds, but it was meant to be spent on supplies and furniture for the students. May also inflated enrollment numbers to receive more public money for the schools. All the schools were either closed or placed under new management, disrupting the lives and education of one thousand students at Pinellas alone.

Covenant Christian School is a private Christian school located in Panama City, Florida. The school educates students in Pre-K (age 3) to 12th grade. The school is a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Panama City. It was founded in 1982 and had its first graduating class in 1989. The current school headmaster is Michael Sabo.

Pretty Bayou is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bay County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,206 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Panama City–Lynn Haven–Panama City Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 2018, Hurricane Michael caused significant damage to the city.

USCS Belle was a schooner that served as a survey vessel in the United States Coast Survey from 1848 to 1857. The Coast Survey acquired Belle from the United States Army Quartermaster Department in 1848 and placed her in service along the Gulf Coast of the United States, where she spent her entire Coast Survey career. Belle sank in a gale at the end of the 1853 surveying season, but she was raised in 1854 and returned to service. She was lost on an uncharted shoal off St. Andrews Bay, Florida, in 1857.

St. Andrew Bay, colloquially called "St. Andrews Bay", is a bay located in Bay County in the panhandle of Florida. It is a 69,000-acre estuary located in northwest Florida. It is relatively deep, and of relatively high salinity due to the low freshwater inflow provided by only a few spring-fed creeks (the most significant being Econfina Creek, fed by Wiliford and Pitts Springs). The county seat of Bay County, Panama City, is located on the bay, named for Saint Andrew. The Atlanta & St. Andrews Bay Railway, which ran from Panama City to Dothan, Alabama (and still exists as a smaller short line), was also named for the bay.

Gulf Coast State College is a public college in Panama City, Florida. It is part of the Florida College System and offers the Associate of Arts degree, Associate of Science degree, certificates, and as of 2011, bachelor's degrees.

The A. A. Payne–John Christo Sr. House is a historic house at 940 West Beach Drive in Panama City, Florida.

The Panama City shootings occurred on December 14, 2010, in Panama City, Florida. In the attack, a disgruntled individual, Clay Allen Duke, fired four shots at six Bay District School board members, but missed them all, including the superintendent. Duke was then shot several times by Mike Jones, a retired police officer who was Head of Safety and Security. Duke then committed suicide.Much of the episode and its immediate aftermath were recorded by local television news stations WMBB and WJHG-TV. The video was subsequently uploaded to video sharing sites, including YouTube.

The Port of Panama City is a port on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in Panama City, Florida. The port is overseen by the Port Authority of Panama City, which was initiated in 1945.
