The Paris International Agricultural Show (French: Salon International de l'Agriculture, or SIA) is an annual agricultural show and trade fair, that takes place at the end of February or beginning of March at the Paris expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France. It is one of the world's largest and most important agricultural shows, drawing larger crowds than any other in Paris except the Foire de Paris.

The ENSTA Paris, also known as the École nationale supérieure de techniques avancées (English: Superior National School of Advanced Techniques) is a prestigious French graduate school of engineering ("école d'ingénieurs"). Founded in 1741, it is the oldest "grande école" in France. It is located in Palaiseau in the south of Paris, on the Paris-Saclay campus, and is a constituent faculty of the Polytechnic Institute of Paris. Every year some 180 engineers graduate from the school. ENSTA affords its students a general training course in engineering. To this end, the school provides high-level scientific and technological training. The teaching is given by research professors with the participation of numerous auxiliary teachers from the economic and industrial world familiar with the latest technical developments in a wide variety of fields. The general nature of the training on offer enables ENSTA graduates to find a career in various sectors such as the automotive or naval industry, networks and telecommunications, space propulsion, robotics, oceanology and the environment. Research, one of the school's primary missions, makes a significant contribution to both fundamental and applied fields, meeting the needs of businesses and also contributing to the school's scholarly outlook. Roughly half of the research at the school is the responsibility of the school's research professors, and the other half is carried out by researchers from the CNRS, the INSERM, and the École polytechnique working at ENSTA premises.

Tour Triangle, also known as Projet Triangle, or simply Triangle, is a skyscraper to be built in the exhibition site Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris, France. Designed by the Swiss agency Herzog & de Meuron, it will take the shape of a 180 m (590 ft) tall glass pyramid with trapezoid base, wide from one side and narrow from another. It will be the first tall building built in the city of Paris since the 1973 Tour Montparnasse. In 2021, the construction contract was awarded to BESIX Group.

Balard (French pronunciation: ​[balaʁ]) is the southwestern terminus of Line 8 of the Paris Métro. Since 2006, it has also been a stop on Île-de-France tramway Line 3a. Situated in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, it serves Parc André Citroën, as well as the Site Balard of the Ministry of the Armies.

The Dôme de Paris (originally the Palais des Sports) is an indoor arena located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, France. The closest métro station is Porte de Versailles.

Corentin Celton (French pronunciation: ​[kɔʁɑ̃tɛ̃ sɛltɔ̃]) is a station on Line 12 of the Paris Métro in the commune of Issy-les-Moulineaux. It opened on 24 March 1934 as part of the line's extension from Porte de Versailles to Mairie d'Issy. In 1863, the hospice of the Petits Ménages relocated from the 7th arrondissement of Paris to Issy-les-Moulineaux, leaving a large area for the expansion of Le Bon Marché department store. The metro station was originally called Petits Ménages because it was located near the hospice, which later became a hospital. In 1945, the hospital and station were renamed to commemorate Corentin Celton, an employee of the hospice and member of the French Resistance, shot by the Nazis at the Fort Mont-Valérien.

The Paris Motor Show (French: Mondial de l'Automobile) is a biennial auto show in Paris. Held during October, it is one of the most important auto shows, often with many new production automobile and concept car debuts. The show presently takes place in Paris expo Porte de Versailles. The Mondial is scheduled by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles, which considers it a major international auto show. In 2016, the Paris Motor Show welcomed 1,253,513 visitors, making it the most visited auto show in the world, ahead of Tokyo and Frankfurt. The key figures of the show are: 125,000 m2 (1,350,000 sq ft) of exhibition, 8 pavilions, 260 brands from 18 countries, 65 world premieres, more than 10 000 test drives for electric and hybrid cars, more than 10 000 journalists from 103 countries. Until 1986, it was called the Salon de l'Automobile; it took the name Mondial de l'Automobile in 1988 and Mondial Paris Motor Show in 2018. The show was held annually until 1976; since which time, it has been held biennially.

Porte de Versailles (French pronunciation: ​[pɔʁt də vɛʁsɑj]) is a station on Line 12 of the Paris Métro, as well as the southern terminus of Île-de-France tramway Line 2 and a stop on Île-de-France tramway Line 3a in the 15th arrondissement. Nearby are the Paris expo Porte de Versailles and Dôme de Paris indoor sports venue.

Lourmel (French pronunciation: ​[luʁmɛl]) is a station on line 8 of the Paris Métro in the 15th arrondissement. The station was opened on 27 July 1937 as part of the extension of line 8 from La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle to Balard. The station is named after the Rue de Lourmel, named after General Frédéric Henri Le Normand de Lourmel, who was killed at the Battle of Inkerman where the Franco-British armies defeated the Russian armies under Alexander Sergeyevich Menshikov during the Crimean War.

Vaugirard Cemetery (cimetière de Vaugirard) is a cemetery in Paris, located at 320 rue Lecourbe and occupying 1.5 hectares of land to the west of that street. It opened in 1787 (or 1798 according to an information panel at its entrance) and contains 2500 tombs and 95 trees from 17 different species, making it one of the oldest cemeteries still active in the city.

The Saint-Sulpice Seminary (French: Séminaire Saint-Sulpice) is a Catholic seminary run by the Society of the Priests of Saint Sulpice, located in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France.

For the world's fair of 1900 held in Paris see Exposition Universelle (1900) The Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is an exhibition and conference centre in Paris, France. It is located in the 15th arrondissement at Porte de Versailles Métro station between the Boulevard Périphérique and Boulevards of the Marshals. It is the largest exhibition park in France. Paris Expo Porte de Versailles boasts 228,211m2 of exhibition floor, 8 pavilions, 2 auditoriums, 32 meeting rooms. The exhibition center hosts over 120 trade-shows every year plus events, many product launches and conventions. The Tour Triangle, a 180 metres tall glass pyramid, is planned to be constructed near the site. It houses a 120-room hotel and 70,000 square metres of office space. Paris Expo will be a venue of the 2024 Summer Olympics, hosting volleyball and table tennis competitions.
