The Barbur Boulevard Transit Center is a TriMet transit center located at 9750 SW Barbur Boulevard, near the intersection with Capitol Highway in southwest Portland, Oregon. Barbur TC is proposed to be a future stop on the MAX Green Line as part of the SW Corridor MAX Project, which would extend the Green Line from its current terminus at the PSU South stations southward to Bridgeport Village in Tualatin.

Rizwan Mosque is an Ahmadi Muslim mosque in Portland, in the US state of Oregon. It was opened in 1987, making it the first and oldest mosque built in Portland. It is operated by the Portland chapter.

Crestwood is a neighborhood in the Southwest section of Portland, Oregon located between SW 45th Ave. and Barbur Blvd., adjacent to Multnomah and Ashcreek. Woods Memorial Natural Area is located here, a swath of urban wilderness visited on occasion by elk.

Multnomah is a neighborhood in the southwest section of Portland, Oregon, centered on the Multnomah Village business district. The community developed in the 1910s around a depot of the Oregon Electric Railway of the same name. It was annexed by the city of Portland on November 7, 1950.Multnomah is bordered by SW 45th Ave. on the west, SW Capitol Hill Road on the east, SW Vermont St. on the north, and I-5 in the south. Exceptions are the area north of SW Nevada Ct. and east of SW 26th Ave. (part of Hillsdale), an area south of SW Multnomah Blvd. and north of SW Dolph St. where SW 48th Ave. is the western border, and an area south of SW Marigold St. where SW Capitol Highway is the western border. The neighborhood is bordered by Maplewood, Ashcreek, and Crestwood on the west, Hayhurst and Hillsdale to the north, and South Burlingame, Markham, and West Portland Park to the south and east. A bit of Portland history played out in the Village on April 7, 1987, when Mayor Bud Clark fired Police Chief Jim Davis while the two were having a breakfast meeting at the Fat City Cafe.The neighborhood celebrates "Multnomah Days" with a parade and street festival on the third Saturday of August.

Markham is a neighborhood in the Southwest section of Portland, Oregon. Markham is bordered by Multnomah and South Burlingame on the north, Marshall Park on the east, Arnold Creek on the south, and West Portland Park on the west. Part of Maricara Natural Area (1988) is located in Markham (as well as in Arnold Creek).

The Capitol Hill Library is a branch of the Multnomah County Library, in the West Portland Park neighborhood of Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon. The branch offers the Multnomah County Library catalog of two million books, periodicals and other materials. Capitol Hill and the Holgate branch are of a similar design.

West Portland Park is a neighborhood in the Southwest section of Portland, Oregon. It lies between SW 53rd Ave. in the west and SW 35th Ave. in the east, and I-5 in the north and SW Stephenson St. (Portland city limits) in the south. (Two small sections extend further south, a parcel at the end of SW 47th Ave. and the "Kerr Site" between SW 39th Ave. and SW 37th Ave., following irregularities in Portland's southern border.) South of SW Pomona St., the western border is SW 49th Ave. The neighborhood borders Crestwood and Far Southwest to the west, Multnomah to the north, Markham and Arnold Creek to the east, and the city of Lake Oswego to the south. The northern part of the neighborhood is called Capitol Hill, site of the Capitol Hill Library, the Islamic Center of Portland, the Portland Rizwan Mosque (of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community), and the Islamic School of Portland. Jackson Middle School and Markham Elementary School are in West Portland Park. Public open space in the neighborhood includes the Kerr Site, which was purchased jointly by the City of Portland and City of Lake Oswego with the intent of eventually installing walking trails; Loll Wildwood, the Metro greenspace at the headwaters of Arnold Creek, formerly known as the West Portland Park Natural Area (purchased in 1995 for protection of wildlife habitat and water quality); and the Holly Farm Park, completed in 2007 after a partnership between the Parks Foundation, Portland Parks & Recreation, and the West Portland Park Neighborhood Association.

Mount Sylvania is an extinct volcano, part of the Boring Lava Field, on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. Parts of the mountain are within the cities of Portland, Lake Oswego, and Tigard. The Sylvania campus of Portland Community College is located on the mountain's western slopes.

Gabriel Park is a 90.65-acre (366,800 m2) public park in Portland, Oregon, United States. It features a baseball field, softball field, soccer field, basketball courts, tennis courts, skatepark, volleyball courts, disabled access play area, disabled access restrooms, dog off-leash area, paved and unpaved paths, reservable picnic sites, and WiFi. The park is located between the Maplewood, Multnomah, and Hillsdale neighborhoods of Southwest Portland at 45th Avenue and Vermont Street. The Southwest Community Center is located at the Northwest corner of Gabriel Park. Amenities include indoor swimming pool, indoor basketball court, fitness room, gymnasium, rock climbing wall, weight room, kitchen, meeting room, party room, and wireless Internet access.
