The Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (北京邮电大学; BUPT) is a public university in Beijing, China. The university is affiliated with the Ministry of Education, and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is part of the Double First-Class Construction and Project 211. Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, formerly known as Beijing Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, was founded in 1955.

Mudanyuan station (simplified Chinese: 牡丹园站; traditional Chinese: 牡丹園站; pinyin: Mǔdānyuán Zhàn; lit. 'Peony Garden station') is a subway station on Line 10 and Line 19 of the Beijing Subway.

Huayuan Road Subdistrict (simplified Chinese: 花园路街道; traditional Chinese: 花園路街道; pinyin: Huāyuánlù Jiēdào) is a subdistrict of eastern Haidian District, Beijing. It borders Xueyuan Road Subdistrict to its north, Yayuncun and Anzhen Subdistricts to its east, Desheng and Beitaipingzhuang Subdistricts to its south, and Zhongguancun Subdistrict to its west. As of 2020, it had 139,362 residents under its administration. It was created in March 2000, when parts of Beitaipingzhuang and Xueyuan were separated from their respective subdistricts and merged.

Sekwa Eye Hospital is one of the pioneer private hospitals in Modern China. It was founded by a group of eye physicians and surgeons in Beijing in 2004. With the support of the Norwegian FK Foundation (Fredskorpset) and later the Research Council of Norway, Sekwa has built partnerships with institutions from several countries, including Thailand, Mongolia, Nepal, Bangladesh and Norway. With these partnerships, Sekwa has built an international environment for its medical service, training and research, and has become one of the very few hospitals in China with the privilege of independent international cooperation, issued by the Administration of Foreign Experts of the State of the People's Republic of China [1]. The hospital has been appointed as a specialized eye care center in Beijing and a regional eye center under a national program of Ministry of Science and Technology of China [2] since 2007. In a Reuters' interview in 2008, the Director of Sekwa expressed different opinions about the serious eye health problems of the school children in China and questioned the rational of the national program of eye massage exercises, which has brought attentions about the problems of Chinese education system and the practice of traditional Chinese medicine in China

Beijing University Students Gymnasium (simplified Chinese: 北京大学生体育馆; traditional Chinese: 北京大學生體育館; pinyin: Běijīng Dàxuéshēng Tǐyùguǎn) is an indoor arena located in 11 N 3rd Ring Road W, Haidian District, Beijing, China. It is affiliated to the Capital Institute of Physical Education in Beijing, China. The gymnasium has a floor space of 12,000 square metres and 4,200 seats. The gymnasium was built in 1988 and hosted the basketball events of the 1990 Asian Games. Currently the stadium is hosting the annual snooker event of China Open.It is necessary to point out that the Chinese name of Beijing University Students' Gymnasium (北京大学生体育馆) is only one character away from Peking University Gymnasium (北京大学体育馆), which are so similar that easily cause confusion by foreigners.

The 2007 Honghe Industrial China Open was a professional snooker tournament that took place between 25 March and 1 April 2007 at the Beijing University Students' Gymnasium in Beijing, China. It was the penultimate ranking event of the 2006–07 season, preceding the 2007 World Championship. The defending champion was Mark Williams, but he lost in the first round 1–5 against Jamie Cope. Graeme Dott won the tournament by defeating Cope 9–5 in the final.

The Yuan Dadu City Wall Ruins Park (Chinese: 元大都城墙遗址公园), also known as the Tucheng or Earth Wall Park, is an urban park and historic site in Beijing. The park was created in 1988 to preserve the ruins of the northern city wall of Khanbaliq (Dadu), capital of the Mongol-led Yuan dynasty. The city wall was constructed in 1267 and finished in 1276. Dadu was abandoned in the Ming dynasty, when Beijing was rebuilt and shifted to the south. The northern segment of the city wall is preserved, and a narrow and long park was created around the ruins of the city wall, located in Haidian District and Chaoyang District. It runs in between and parallel to the northern sections of the 3rd and 4th Ring Roads. The park underwent restoration in 2003.
