Sekwa Eye Hospital is one of the pioneer private hospitals in Modern China. It was founded by a group of eye physicians and surgeons in Beijing in 2004. With the support of the Norwegian FK Foundation (Fredskorpset) and later the Research Council of Norway, Sekwa has built partnerships with institutions from several countries, including Thailand, Mongolia, Nepal, Bangladesh and Norway. With these partnerships, Sekwa has built an international environment for its medical service, training and research, and has become one of the very few hospitals in China with the privilege of independent international cooperation, issued by the Administration of Foreign Experts of the State of the People's Republic of China [1]. The hospital has been appointed as a specialized eye care center in Beijing and a regional eye center under a national program of Ministry of Science and Technology of China [2] since 2007. In a Reuters' interview in 2008, the Director of Sekwa expressed different opinions about the serious eye health problems of the school children in China and questioned the rational of the national program of eye massage exercises, which has brought attentions about the problems of Chinese education system and the practice of traditional Chinese medicine in China

Madian Qiao station (simplified Chinese: 马甸桥站; traditional Chinese: 馬甸橋站; pinyin: Mǎdiàn Qiáo zhàn) is a station on Line 12 of the Beijing Subway. It opened on December 15, 2024.

Rendinghu Park (simplified Chinese: 人定湖公园; traditional Chinese: 人定湖公園; pinyin: Réndìnghú Gōngyuán), is a European-style garden in Beijing, China, located at No. 25, Liupu Kang Street, Xicheng District, on the south side of Huangsi Street. The total area is 9.2 hectares, including 1 hectare of water area. Focusing on modern gardens, the southern half of the park uses grass, water features, sculptures, flower stands, and landscape walls to create a garden environment with the charm of European courtyards. In the northern half of the park, the sparse forests and grasslands, still water, decorative squares, and modern sculptures constitute a garden space full of the sense of the times in a simple way.From 2006 to 2007, the Xicheng District Garden Bureau carried out a comprehensive renovation of the park, and in accordance with the goal of building an ecological and energy-saving garden, improved the park's body of water, built a simulated artificial wetland, planted a variety of aquatic plants, and used solar energy. The garden road was illuminated, the lake started being used for rainwater collection, and various service facilities were added, so that the park could provide greater ecological and social benefits.

Beijing Normal University (BNU; 北京师范大学) is a public university in Beijing, China. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education of China, and co-funded by the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. The university is part of Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class Construction.

Deshengmen (simplified Chinese: 德胜门; traditional Chinese: 德勝門; pinyin: Déshèngmén; lit. 'Gate of Virtuous Triumph') is a city gate that was once part of Beijing's northern city wall. It is one of Beijing's few preserved city gates and now stands as a landmark on the northern 2nd Ring Road. The original gate complex, built in 1437, was composed of three structures – the gatehouse, archery tower, and barbican. The gatehouse proper was demolished in 1921, and the city wall was torn down in 1969. Today only the archery tower and the barbican survives. They overlook the northern city moat, and house an ancient coin exhibition inside. Deshengmen is now a major transportation node in northern Beijing. The gate complex is surrounded by the Deshengmen bridge, a rotary overpass that channels traffic from the 2nd Ring Road to the Badaling Expressway. The street that once passed through the gate is still named in relation to it. South of Deshengmen and inside the old city wall is Deshengmen Inner Street. To the north, it is called Deshengmen Outer Street. Deshengmen means "Gate of Virtuous Triumph." In traditional times, the imperial military would march out of Beijing through Deshengmen, and return through Andingmen, the Gate of Peace and Stability.

The Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (北京邮电大学; BUPT) is a public university in Beijing, China. The university is affiliated with the Ministry of Education, and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, formerly known as Beijing Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, was founded in 1955.

Beijing Jishuitan Hospital [1] (JST Hospital; simplified Chinese: 北京积水潭医院; traditional Chinese: 北京積水潭醫院), is a large public teaching hospital in Beijing, focusing mainly on orthopaedics and burn surgery. Founded in 1956, the hospital now has around 1000 beds. Its performance in medical care, teaching and researching led to it becoming the Fourth Medical College of Peking University. The hospital now has 200 doctors and 2200 other staff. The hospital has fully equipped departments of orthopaedics, spine surgery, adult joint reconstructive surgery, orthopaedic trauma, hand surgery, paediatric orthopaedics, bone tumor, sports medicines and burn surgery. Some departments of the hospital are ranked among the leading positions in China, in particular orthopaedics and burn surgery. Special units based at the hospital include Beijing Bone and Arthropathy Research Center, Beijing Traumotology and Orthopaedics Research Center, Beijing Hand Surgery Research Center, Beijing Burn Surgery Research Center and Post Operative Total Joint Arthroplasty Evaluation Center. The first Orthopaedics Training Center was established on 27 April 2001. Since its foundation, the hospital has won five state-level scientific awards.
