Old Jamestown is a census-designated place (CDP) in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 19,184 at the 2010 census. Old Jamestown is northwest of the city of St. Louis and borders the Missouri River.

Jamestown Mall was an enclosed shopping mall in Florissant, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Opened in 1973, the mall formerly included Dillard's, JCPenney, Macy's, and Sears as its anchor stores. The mall had become increasingly vacant since the beginning of the 2000s. It closed in July 2014 and has been slated for redevelopment as an open-air center.

Black Jack is a second-ring suburb of St. Louis, located in northern St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 6,929 at the 2010 census.A post office called Black Jack was established in 1872, and operated until 1906. The community was named for a grove of blackjack oak trees near the original town site.

The Ferguson-Florissant School District (FFSD) is a public school district located in Greater St. Louis and in Missouri. Its headquarters are in Hazelwood. The district covers all or part of 11 municipalities, serving more than 11,000 students from preschool through 12th grade. FFSD operates 17 elementary schools, four middle schools (one a STEAM and Gifted Academy), three A+ and NCA-CASI-accredited high schools and an alternative school. It also offers a comprehensive early education program, the Challenger Learning Center space education facility and the Little Creek Nature Area, a 97-acre nature preserve used for experiential learning on subjects such as biology, ecology and related areas of science.

The Bellefontaine Bridge is a four-span truss railroad bridge over the Missouri River between St. Charles County, Missouri, and St. Louis County, Missouri. It has four 440-foot (130 m) spans. Construction started on July 4, 1892, and the bridge opened on December 27, 1893.The bridge was built by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad and is now owned and operated by BNSF Railway. New Jersey Steel and Iron Company of Trenton, New Jersey, served as the contractor for the original construction, and George S. Morison designed the structure. Notably, the bridge was one of the first to use a Baltimore truss design; the nearby Merchants Bridge (also designed by Morison) used a Pennsylvania through truss design and had opened just a few years prior. The truss spans are found on masonry piers, which were constructed atop caissons founded into bedrock below the river.The structure is the last railroad structure over the Missouri River before its confluence with the Mississippi River.

McCluer North High School (founded 1971) is a public school in Florissant, Missouri, United States in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The McCluer North campus is centrally located in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Located in a residential area, the campus is bounded by Waterford Drive, St. Catherine and Parker Road. Facing the site is the Florissant Civic Center and its 20-acre (8.1 ha) park-like setting. Immediately adjacent are the former District Administrative Offices that included services for students and families in the Community School Program, PROBE Gifted Program, comprehensive Early Education services and the Child Development Center, a professionally run day care center that operates in conjunction with McCluer North's Child Development classes. On the Parker Road side of the campus, McCluer North backs up to Parker Road Elementary School. McCluer North was designed to provide adaptable and flexible space for a variety of instructional activities that include large-group presentations, small-group work and independent study. The multi-level building features a Student Concourse and commons area that has a cafeteria and an outdoor plaza where staff and students can socialize. A focal point in the school is the Instructional Materials Center (IMC), which serves as a library center where students can conduct research, independent study, guided or independent reading. The Counseling Center, located in the IMC, provides a full range of services for students. During her 2008 bid for the presidency, Senator Hillary Clinton made a campaign stop at McCluer North. Bill and Chelsea Clinton also attended the campaign rally, which was held in the school's gymnasium.

The Hubecky House in Florissant, Missouri is a historic house located at 917 Lafayette.It was built in 1922. It has "plaster walls, millwork and pine floors", In 1978, its exterior was weatherboard and its roof was asbestos shingles. It is perhaps best described as "Bungalow with French Affinities", a term applied to the adjacent, similar Meyer House.In the 1970s the area of St. Ferdinand was assessed for its historic resources, leading to the listing in 1979 of the Hubecky House and many other houses, buildings, and historic districts on the National Register of Historic Places.The Hubecky House was deemed "Significant as an example of the continuity of the Missouri French style of architecture, which helps make this Multiple Resource Area a cohesive entity."Also the MRA document describes: "This frame Missouri French example helps define the type and represents the renaissance of this style in this town in the 1920's and 1930's."The Missouri French style was "a trademark of Florissant's residential architecture since 1790", and 16 examples including the Hubecky House were assessed to be "of considerable local architectural importance in spite of their simple designs."It was a home of William F. Hubecky (1930-2004), a postman.
