Chichester/Goodwood Airport

The Goodwood Revival is a three-day festival held each September at Goodwood Circuit since 1998 for the types of racing cars and motorcycles that would have competed during the circuit's original period—1948–1966.

Goodwood Roller Marathon was an annual charity race around the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit organised by the Camberley Skaters. The event officially raised money for the NSPCC and Young Epilepsy (formerly the NCYPE) with many participants also raising money for many other charities. The race was for any "non powered, small wheeled transport" such as Roller Skates (Inline & Quad), Longboards or Roller Skis.

Goodwood Circuit is a historic venue for both two- and four-wheeled motorsport in the United Kingdom. The 2.367-mile (3.809 km) circuit is situated near Chichester, West Sussex, close to the south coast of England, on the estate of Goodwood House, and completely encircles Chichester/Goodwood Airport. This is the racing circuit dating from 1948, not to be confused with the separate hillclimb course located at Goodwood House and first used in 1936.

Royal Air Force Westhampnett or more simply RAF Westhampnett is a former Royal Air Force satellite station, located in the village of Westhampnett near Chichester, in the English County of West Sussex. It was built as an emergency landing airfield for fighter aircraft, as a satellite station to RAF Tangmere. Built on land belonging to the Goodwood Estate, the then landowner, the Duke of Richmond, Frederick Gordon-Lennox retained the Title Deed to the land.

Graylingwell Hospital (formerly the West Sussex County Asylum, or West Sussex County Lunatic Asylum) was a psychiatric hospital in Chichester, West Sussex, United Kingdom.

The Goodwood plant serves as the headquarters, design, manufacturing and assembly centre for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Officially opened on 1 January 2003, the plant is situated on a site covering 42 acres (17 ha). The plant has been expanded since. Over 1,700 workers are currently employed at Goodwood. At present (2017) the plant produces approximately 20 cars a day.

Westhampnett (or West Hampnett) is a village, Anglican parish and civil parish in the district of Chichester in West Sussex, England, located 1 mile (1.6 km) northeast of Chichester on the former A27 road, now by-passed. The village is pre-Norman and is home to many listed buildings, including the Saxon church of St Peter, where three bishops of Chichester are buried. The parish of Westhampnett includes most of Goodwood estate, its golf course, motor-racing circuit and airfield.

Portfield Football Club was a football club based in the Portfield area of Chichester, England. Established in 1896, they merged with Chichester City in 2000 to form Chichester City United, later renamed Chichester City.

East Lavant is one part, which along with Mid Lavant make up the village of Lavant in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England. It lies just east of the A286 road 2.2 miles (3.5 km) north of Chichester. It is in the civil parish of Lavant. East Lavant has a collection of historic cottages and a public house. The manor appears in Domesday as Loventone. In 1851 the parish had a population of 421. On 29 September 1873 the parish was abolished and merged with West Lavant to form "Lavant".

Goodwood House is a country house and estate covering 4,900 hectares (49 km2) in Westhampnett, Chichester, West Sussex, England and is the seat of the Duke of Richmond. The house was built in about 1600 and is a Grade I listed building.

The University of Chichester is a public university located in West Sussex, England, which became a university in 2005. Campuses are based in the city of Chichester and the nearby coastal resort of Bognor Regis and an associate campus for commercial music on the Isle of Wight.The University of Chichester has 14 departments, with specialisms including Humanities, Sport, Musical Theatre, acting and Education. Its heritage stretches back into the nineteenth century when, in 1839, Bishop Otter College was established. Since 2013, both campuses have seen major expansion-led building works through National Lottery funding and other funding. The University of Chichester is a member of The Cathedrals Group.
