Dunhampstead is a small village in the English county of Worcestershire. It is located about 6 miles to the north-east of Worcester and around half a mile to the east of the M5. The Worcester and Birmingham Canal passes through the village where by Bridge 30 there is a boatyard and it passes through Dunhampstead Tunnel.The main railway line between Birmingham and the south-west of England passes just east of the village. A station existed by the level crossing but closed in the 1950s. The signal box and crossing house have also been removed. The village public house, The Fir Tree Inn (locally known as The Firs) closed in Autumn 2019, with 2 houses built on its car park. The nearest pub is approximately 1.5 miles down the towpath at Tibberton, at Bridge 25. There are now no facilities in the hamlet but it remains popular with walkers, cyclists and horse riders.

Trench Wood is a woodland area part managed by the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and Butterfly Conservation. It is located around 6 miles north-east of Worcester near the small villages of Dunhampstead and Sale Green. The Worcester and Birmingham Canal and the main line railway from Birmingham to the south-west of England both pass just to the west of the wood. The back third of the woodland is in private ownership and is not accessible. In 2009 the Bat Conservation Trust launched a detail study of 10 counties in England to determine the range of the Bechstein's bat and in 2010 a lactating female Bechstein's was discovered in Grafton Wood, suggesting that there was a breeding colony in the wood or close by. Another Bechstein's was discovered in the same year at Trench Wood. The People's Trust for Endangered Species are funding further research work.

Tibberton is a village in Worcestershire, England. It is located around 4 miles north-east of Worcester and less than a mile from junction 6 of the M5 motorway. The Worcester and Birmingham Canal passes just to the north of the village. A number of archeological surveys have been carried out in the modern period in anticipation of modernization projects. These investigations reveal varying degrees of human presence from the prehistoric period. In 2010 an archeological survey was carried out near Pershore Lane close to the M5, less than a mile from the center of the village. This investigation uncovered Neolithic and Bronze age activity suggesting the clearing of woodland, and timberworks that may have formed timber tracks across grasslands. Radio-carbon dating places the activity in the Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age period. An excavation of Hawthorn Rise, on the northern edge of the village and near the canal, was carried out in 2017 in advance of a new housing development. This investigation revealed human artifacts ranging from the prehistoric to medieval periods, mostly focused on two ditches that were likely opened up in the Middle Iron Age (400-100 BCE) and closed in the Late Iron Age (100-50 BCE). While inconclusive, the archeological evidence suggests the possibility of a large enclosure on the hill indicative of other Iron Age settlements in the region. Fabrics (pottery sherds) from nearby Droitwich were discovered connecting the site to the saltworks there. From at least the Roman period Droitwich was active in the extraction of salt. Tibberton was once known as Tidbrichtingtone and formerly belonged to the bishop of Worcester's manor of Northwick. Ownership was subsequently passed to the Priory of Worcester.Tibberton was included in the Worcester folio of the Domesday Book survey of 1086. It is listed as a holding of Northwick, within the Hundred of Oswaldslow. The tenant in chief both in 1066 and 1086 was the bishop of Worcester. At the time of survey there were 13 villagers, 18 smallholders, 8 slaves and 2 others, which formed 4 lord’s plough teams and 18 men’s plough teams. It also contained a fishery and salthouse. The unusual dedication of Tibberton's Church of England parish church to St. Peter ad Vincula ("St. Peter in Chains") is derived from the ancient Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli in Rome. A poem was associated with the church stating "A stone church, a wooden steeple. A drunken parson, a wicked people."

Hadzor is a small village near Droitwich, Worcestershire, England. There are around fourteen houses and a Roman Catholic church in the village, although there is no shop or school and the Church of England church was closed in the 1970s. Hadzor is part of the Bowbrook Group of Parishes, which includes the neighbouring villages of Sale Green, Oddingley and Hanbury and nearby Huddington, Crowle, Tibberton and Himbleton. In 2003, a number of new houses were built on the borders of the village by developer Neil Grinnal. These are not granted direct access to the village, and have thus been dubbed 'New Hadzor' or 'the housing estate', not being considered part of the original village. A long campaign was led against this development under the banner 'keep Hadzor special', but failed to prevent around 70 houses being built. As a consequence of the development, however, Hadzor has since been awarded a village green on land formerly belonging to Hadzor Hall, a large hall formerly owned by Neil Grinnall.In 2016, local celebrity Tobias Thornes appeared on University Challenge, competing for Oriel College, Oxford and his vast knowledge of modern music became the high point.

Crowle (rhymes with coal) is a village in Worcestershire, England situated 4 miles (6.4 km) east of the City of Worcester. Crowle is known for its Church of England St John the Baptist Church. The village has a first school named Crowle First School. The Preschool houses the village's war memorial, listing the names of the ninety-six men from Crowle who served during the First World War. Opposite sits an enclave of houses whose streets bear the names of those fallen. The village pub is The Old Chequers Inn.

The Droitwich Water Tower, also known as Yew Tree Hill Water Tower, is a structure on Yew Tree Hill in Droitwich, England, owned and operated by Severn Trent as part of its water supply infrastructure. It was built in 1962 and stands at 110 feet (34 m) tall. The structure is prominent locally, being described as "one of the first things you see when you enter the town".

Huddington Court is a 15th-century moated manor house in the village of Huddington in Worcestershire, England, some six miles east of Worcester. It was described by Sir Nikolaus Pevsner as 'the most picturesque house in Worcestershire'. It was the home of the Wintour family, of which the Gunpowder plot conspirators Robert, Thomas and John Wintour are the most notorious. The house is a private residence and is not open to the public. It has been Grade I listed on the National Heritage List for England since 1952.
