Droitwich Road railway station

Hanbury Hall is a large 18th-century stately home standing in parkland at Hanbury, Worcestershire. The main range has two storeys and is built of red brick in the Queen Anne style. It is a Grade I listed building, and the associated Orangery and Long Gallery pavilion ranges are listed Grade II*. It is managed by the National Trust and is open to the public.

Hadzor is a small village near Droitwich, Worcestershire, England. There are around fourteen houses and a Roman Catholic church in the village, although there is no shop or school and the Church of England church was closed in the 1970s. Hadzor is part of the Bowbrook Group of Parishes, which includes the neighbouring villages of Sale Green, Oddingley and Hanbury and nearby Huddington, Crowle, Tibberton and Himbleton. In 2003, a number of new houses were built on the borders of the village by developer Neil Grinnal. These are not granted direct access to the village, and have thus been dubbed 'New Hadzor' or 'the housing estate', not being considered part of the original village. A long campaign was led against this development under the banner 'keep Hadzor special', but failed to prevent around 70 houses being built. As a consequence of the development, however, Hadzor has since been awarded a village green on land formerly belonging to Hadzor Hall, a large hall formerly owned by Neil Grinnall.In 2016, local celebrity Tobias Thornes appeared on University Challenge, competing for Oriel College, Oxford and his vast knowledge of modern music became the high point.

Mere Green is a hamlet in the English county of Worcestershire. It is located south of the village of Hanbury roughly midway between Worcester and Redditch.

Dodderhill is a civil parish, near Droitwich, Worcestershire, England, located on the River Salwarpe. The parish is bisected by the M5 motorway, constructed in 1962. It is home to the Droitwich transmitting station in Wychbold.

Wychbold is a village in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire. The village is situated on the A38 between Droitwich Spa and Bromsgrove, and by Junction 5 of the M5 motorway. The first records of Wychbold suggest that it was of great importance to the Anglo-Saxons, particularly in regards to its proximity to Droitwich Spa. The village is known primarily for the garden centre Webbs of Wychbold.

Dunhampstead is a small village in the English county of Worcestershire. It is located about 6 miles to the north-east of Worcester and around half a mile to the east of the M5. The Worcester and Birmingham Canal passes through the village where by Bridge 30 there is a boatyard and it passes through Dunhampstead Tunnel.The main railway line between Birmingham and the south-west of England passes just east of the village. A station existed by the level crossing but closed in the 1950s. The signal box and crossing house have also been removed. The village public house, The Fir Tree Inn (locally known as The Firs) closed in Autumn 2019, with 2 houses built on its car park. The nearest pub is approximately 1.5 miles down the towpath at Tibberton, at Bridge 25. There are now no facilities in the hamlet but it remains popular with walkers, cyclists and horse riders.

Chateau Impney Hotel & Exhibition Centre is a Grade II* listed 19th-century house built in the style of an elaborate French château near Droitwich Spa in Worcestershire, England. Of the large mansions in Worcestershire supported by industrial fortunes, Sir Nicolas Pevsner judged Impney to be "the showiest of them all in the county". Once a family home for local industrialist John Corbett, Chateau Impney has been a hotel since 1925.Chateau Impney has 106 bedrooms, including boutique-styled rooms in the main building, and houses the Impney Restaurant and Bar and the Grand Bar, which features an oak-carved Jacobean staircase that extends upwards throughout the building and views that incorporate the Malvern Hills. The hotel is also home to a number of conferencing facilities, including the Regent Centre, which is one of the largest exhibition spaces in the West Midlands. Chateau Impney announced in 2020 that it would permanently close.

Dunhampstead railway station served the village of Dunhampstead, Worcestershire, England, from 1841 to 1855 on the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway.

The Droitwich transmitting station is a large broadcasting facility for long-wave and medium-wave transmissions, established in 1934 in the civil parish of Dodderhill, just outside the village of Wychbold, near Droitwich in Worcestershire, England (grid reference SO929663). The site is the location of the British Broadcasting Corporation's most powerful long-wave transmitter, which together with the two Scottish long-wave transmitters at Burghead and Westerglen forms a network broadcasting on the same frequency. The masts can be seen to the east from the M5 motorway, between Droitwich and Bromsgrove, as well as to the west from the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border. At night, the two sets of aircraft warning lights are visible from a long distance. Due to the bright red lights illuminated at night, some locals have renamed the site "the devil horns of Wychbold". The station is owned and operated by Arqiva.

Trench Wood is a woodland area part managed by the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and Butterfly Conservation. It is located around 6 miles north-east of Worcester near the small villages of Dunhampstead and Sale Green. The Worcester and Birmingham Canal and the main line railway from Birmingham to the south-west of England both pass just to the west of the wood. The back third of the woodland is in private ownership and is not accessible. In 2009 the Bat Conservation Trust launched a detail study of 10 counties in England to determine the range of the Bechstein's bat and in 2010 a lactating female Bechstein's was discovered in Grafton Wood, suggesting that there was a breeding colony in the wood or close by. Another Bechstein's was discovered in the same year at Trench Wood. The People's Trust for Endangered Species are funding further research work.

The church of St Mary the Virgin is an Anglican parish church in the village of Hanbury, Worcestershire. Its earliest parts date from about 1210 and it is a Grade I listed building. The church was the family church for the Vernon family of nearby Hanbury Hall.

Stoke Works railway station was a station in the hamlet of Stoke Prior in the English county of Worcestershire, near Bromsgrove. It was located on the Stoke Works Branch, which is still in operation carrying trains from Droitwich Spa to Bromsgrove. It was the only intermediate station on the line and was opened primarily for the workforce at the Stoke Prior Works. The works are no longer in operation and the car spelled the end for the station.
