CKSR-FM (98.3 kHz Star 98.3) is a Canadian radio station located in Chilliwack, British Columbia. The station, operating at 2,100 watts of power, is owned by Rogers Radio, a division of Rogers Sports & Media. CKSR also runs a repeater station in Hope (CFSR-FM 100.5).

CHWK-FM is a Canadian radio station that broadcasts a country format at 89.5 FM in Chilliwack, British Columbia. The station is branded as 89.5 JR Country. Owned by Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, the station was licensed to Fabmar Communications in May, 2008. The station began testing on February 11, 2009 and launched at 12:05 pm on February 20, 2009, as 89.5 The Hawk, Chilliwack's Rock Station, initially playing an active rock format, later adopting a more classic rock format. The station was also the radio home of the WHL Chilliwack Bruins from February 2009 until the team's relocation to Victoria following the 2011 season. Glen Slingerland and Sadie are the 'Breakfast Club' 5:30am-10am. Charlee Morgan is Middays 10am-2pm, John Vosper is Afternoon Drive from 2pm-6pm, Carla Rider is Evening Show Mark Patric is General Manager and Darren Metselaar is General Sales Manager On June 28, 2013 at 10:00 am, the station adopted a classic hits format, and rebranded as 89.5 The Drive, beginning with a weekend-long countdown of 500 songs chosen by the listeners of the station. On August 20, 2018, the Jim Pattison Group announced its intent to acquire Fabmar Communications pending CRTC approval.On July 1, 2022, CHWK-FM flipped to country branded as 89.5 JR Country. CHWK was the former call sign of a radio station in Chilliwack from 1927 until it changed its call sign to CKSR-FM in 2000.

Ryder Lake is a small, sub-alpine, farming-based community located in Chilliwack, British Columbia, situated on Mount Thom to the west of Lookout Ridge. A post office operated here from 1926 to 1940. Notable features in Ryder Lake include a former small elementary school and small fire hall. The community is located east of Promontory. It is home to a great variety of wildlife and is a popular destination for hiking. The community is named after the lake of the same name. The small lake is situated on private property and cannot be seen from the road because of fencing and trees.

Elk Mountain is located within the Fraser Valley in South Western British Columbia. It is part of the Cascade mountain range. Its highest point reaches up to 1,432 m. It is often frequented by paragliders.

Grass Indian Reserve No. 15 is an Indian reserve in the area of the City of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, located 3.5 miles southeast of that city's downtown area. 64.80 ha. in size, it is shared by nine bands of the Sto:lo people. Chilliwack River Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located on the north side of the Chilliwack River to the southeast of the City of Chilliwack in the province's Lower Mainland region. When first established in 1961, the park comprised approximately 65 acres. Boundaries were decreased in 1970, then increased back to 65 acres later that year. The boundary was redrawn again in 2004, with the park now comprising 21 hectares.

Rosedale is a farming-based community located east of Chilliwack, British Columbia. This small community is based alongside the Fraser River. It serves as a base for many tourists, both in summer and winter. The hills and valleys of British Columbia are popular skiing, snowboarding and dogsledding locations. In summer, rockclimbing and whitewater rafting are the primary activities in the Fraser Valley. In the 2007 school year, the middle school located in Rosedale, Rosedale Middle School, was transformed into the Chilliwack School District's first traditional school. Rosedale now boasts an elementary/middle school combined, which opened its doors in 2012.

Chilliwack-Kent is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Canada that first existed from 2001 to 2009, when it was replaced by the Chilliwack-Hope riding. In the 2015 redistribution, the eastern portion of Chilliwack-Hope was adjusted and the name Chilliwack-Kent was brought back into service and was contested in the 2017 general election.

Mount McGuire is a 2,008-metre (6,588-foot) mountain summit located in the Cascade Mountains of southwestern British Columbia, Canada. It is situated 4 km (2 mi) north of the Canada–United States border, 19 km (12 mi) southeast of Chilliwack, and 7.4 km (5 mi) northwest of Canadian Border Peak, which is its nearest higher peak. Precipitation runoff from the peak drains into tributaries of the Chilliwack River. The steep western slope of the peak plunges 1800 metres into Tamihi Creek. The mountain was originally known as Tamihi, a Halkomelem name that means "deformed baby finishes." Such infants were sometimes left exposed on the mountain to die. The mountain's name was labelled on 1917 map as McGuire, and officially adopted on October 6, 1936, by the Geographical Names Board of Canada. The peak was first climbed in 1906 by James J. McArthur and survey party via the Southeast Ridge.

Sardis is a small community on the south side of Chilliwack, about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from downtown, in the Fraser River Valley. Sardis is the urban core of the south side of Chilliwack and a popular shopping destination.
