Chilliwack River Provincial Park

Ryder Lake is a small, sub-alpine, farming-based community located in Chilliwack, British Columbia, situated on Mount Thom to the west of Lookout Ridge. A post office operated here from 1926 to 1940. Notable features in Ryder Lake include a former small elementary school and small fire hall. The community is located east of Promontory. It is home to a great variety of wildlife and is a popular destination for hiking. The community is named after the lake of the same name. The small lake is situated on private property and cannot be seen from the road because of fencing and trees.

CHWK-FM is a Canadian radio station that broadcasts a country format at 89.5 FM in Chilliwack, British Columbia. The station is branded as 89.5 JR Country. Owned by Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, the station was licensed to Fabmar Communications in May, 2008. The station began testing on February 11, 2009 and launched at 12:05 pm on February 20, 2009, as 89.5 The Hawk, Chilliwack's Rock Station, initially playing an active rock format, later adopting a more classic rock format. The station was also the radio home of the WHL Chilliwack Bruins from February 2009 until the team's relocation to Victoria following the 2011 season. Glen Slingerland and Sadie are the 'Breakfast Club' 5:30am-10am. Charlee Morgan is Middays 10am-2pm, John Vosper is Afternoon Drive from 2pm-6pm, Carla Rider is Evening Show Mark Patric is General Manager and Darren Metselaar is General Sales Manager On June 28, 2013 at 10:00 am, the station adopted a classic hits format, and rebranded as 89.5 The Drive, beginning with a weekend-long countdown of 500 songs chosen by the listeners of the station. On August 20, 2018, the Jim Pattison Group announced its intent to acquire Fabmar Communications pending CRTC approval.On July 1, 2022, CHWK-FM flipped to country branded as 89.5 JR Country. CHWK was the former call sign of a radio station in Chilliwack from 1927 until it changed its call sign to CKSR-FM in 2000.

Owned by Rogers Radio, a division of Rogers Sports & Media, it broadcasts a modern rock format. The station's main studios and offices are at 2440 Ash Street in the Fairview neighbourhood of Vancouver, where its rebroadcasting transmitter CKKS-FM-2 operates at 104.9 FM with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 31,000 watts and a height above average terrain (HAAT) of 672.2 metres (2,205 ft) from atop Mount Seymour. Another rebroadcasting transmitter, 92.5 CKKS-FM-1, is in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The station went on the air in 1986 as CKSR-FM, with transmitters at Abbotsford and Chilliwack. Technical changes in the late 1990s added a third transmitter in Vancouver, greatly expanding its broadcast coverage.

Grass Indian Reserve No. 15 is an Indian reserve in the area of the City of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, located 3.5 miles southeast of that city's downtown area. 64.80 ha. in size, it is shared by nine bands of the Sto:lo people. Chilliwack-Kent is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Canada that first existed from 2001 to 2009, when it was replaced by the Chilliwack-Hope riding. In the 2015 redistribution, the eastern portion of Chilliwack-Hope was adjusted and the name Chilliwack-Kent was brought back into service and was contested in the 2017 general election.

G.W Graham Secondary School, previously G.W Graham Middle-Secondary School, is a high school for students from grade 9 (age 14–15) to grade 12 (age 17–18) in Chilliwack, British Columbia. It is part of School District 33 Chilliwack.Prior to the school district reorganisation in 2018 this was constituted as a combined middle secondary school taking pupils from grade 7 (age 12–13).In 2018, the school district proposed a reorganization. An expansion plan for the school was announced in 2020.

The Sweltzer River is a river in British Columbia, Canada, that drains the waters of Cultus Lake into the Chilliwack River. It is about 3 kilometres (2 mi) long, and much of it runs through Soowahlie Indian Reserve No. 14, which is under the administration of the Soowahlie Indian Band. The name Sweltzer River was applied on an 1895 map to Liumchen Creek, which is to the northeast.

Canada Education Park (CEP) is located on the southside of Chilliwack at the former site of the Canadian army base called CFB Chilliwack. It is home to learning institutions including University of the Fraser Valley, Justice Institute of BC, and RCMP Pacific Region Training Centre.

Canadian Forces Base Chilliwack (also CFB Chilliwack) was a Canadian Forces base located in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Vedder Crossing is adjacent to the junction of the Chilliwack and Vedder Rivers at its southern boundary, and Promontory Road to the north.

Sardis is a small community on the south side of Chilliwack, about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from downtown, in the Fraser River Valley. Sardis is the urban core of the south side of Chilliwack and a popular shopping destination.
