Lingfield, Surrey

Centenary Fields is a 4.2-hectare (10-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Lingfield in Surrey. It is owned by Lingfield Parish Council and managed by Lingfield Wildlife Area Committee.This site, which is managed by local volunteers, has grassland, a wildflower meadow, allotments, a butterfly garden and a community orchard where a local variety of apple, the Lingfield Forge, is being grown.There is access from Vicarage Road.

Lingfield Wildlife Area is a 6.3-hectare (16-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Lingfield in Surrey. It is owned by Tandridge District Council and managed by the Lingfield Wildlife Area Committee.This site adjoins Centenary Fields and both are managed by local volunteers. There is a wildlife area, copses, a pond, a wetland area, hedges, meadows and a skateboard ramp.There is access from Saxbys Lane.

It is owned by the ARC Racing and Leisure Group, formerly Arena Leisure Plc. Lingfield is best known as a winter all-weather flat racing course; the track is Polytrack, rather than the usual turf found in the UK. There are only five other all-weather courses in the UK, the others being at Southwell, Kempton, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, and Chelmsford City (formerly Great Leighs Racecourse). Lingfield also stages National Hunt and flat races on turf. Lingfield railway station adjoins the course, served by trains from London to East Grinstead via Oxted.

Lingfield College is a private day school situated in Lingfield in the English county of Surrey, for pupils aged six months to eighteen years old. It was originally a boarding school for girls and became fully co-educational in 1996. As of 2022 there are approximately 940 pupils at the School spread over two sites situated next to one another: the Prep School and the Senior School. The School is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses Conference.

Crowhurst Place, Crowhurst, Surrey, England is a medieval hall house dating from the early 15th century. In the 20th century, the house was reconstructed and enlarged by George A. Crawley, firstly for himself and subsequently for Consuelo Vanderbilt, Duchess of Marlborough. It is a Grade I listed building.

Dormansland is a large village and civil parish with a low population approximately one mile south of Lingfield in Surrey, England. It was founded in the 19th century and is bordered on the east by the county of Kent and on the south by West Sussex and East Sussex, the only area of the county which borders East Sussex. Thedden Grange is a privately owned country house and estate in the civil parish of Bentworth, on the outskirts of Alton, Hampshire, England. Since renovation in the mid-1970s the original house, outbuildings and land have been divided into seven separate properties plus additional flats. The house and grounds have been used as locations in a number of films and television programmes. The estate covers 40 acres of land, among which are 9 acres of ornamental garden.

Bush Davies School of Theatre Arts was a dance and performing arts school in the United Kingdom. Founded by the dance teacher Pauline Bush in Nottingham in 1914, and later with branches in Romford, Essex and London; it was bombed out during the Second World War and then moved to a former boys' school East Grinstead. The Romford branch closed in 1974 and the East Grinstead branch in 1989. After Pauline Bush's death, the school was run by her daughter Noreen and her husband Victor Leopold. Later their son Paul Kimm joined them, and he remained Principal until the school closed.

Blindley Heath SSSI is a 26.3-hectare (65-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in the hamlet Blindley Heath, on the southern outskirts of Godstone in Surrey. It is also a Local Nature Reserve. It is owned by Godstone Parish Council and managed by the Surrey Wildlife TrustThis damp grassland site on Weald Clay has a rich flora. There are also a number of ponds and a stretch of the Ray Brook runs through the heath. The grassland is dominated by tussock grass and there are scattered oaks, hawthorns, willows and blackthorns.There is access from Ray Lane.
