Caxton is a small rural village and civil parish in the South Cambridgeshire district of Cambridgeshire, England. It is 9 miles west of the county town of Cambridge. In 2001, the population of Caxton parish was 480 people, increasing to 572 at the 2011 Census. Caxton is most famous for the Caxton Gibbet.

Cambourne Nature Reserve is a 90 hectare nature reserve in Cambourne in Cambridgeshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.This site has woodland, lakes, ponds, grassland and an orchard. The lakes and ponds have water voles and great crested newts, and birds include skylarks and corn buntings.The reserve occupies several different areas around Cambourne with a number of entrances.

Cambourne is a new settlement and civil parish in Cambridgeshire, England, in the district of South Cambridgeshire. It lies on the A428 road between Cambridge, 9 miles (14 km) to the east, and St Neots and Bedford to the west. It comprises the three villages of Great Cambourne, Lower Cambourne and Upper Cambourne. The area is close to Bourn Airfield. Cambourne is the largest settlement in South Cambridgeshire, with a population of 12,350 in the 2021 UK census.

Cambourne Village College is a mixed secondary school located in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire, England. It is a free school that opened in 2013, and is part of a federation with Comberton Village College operating within the Cam Academy Trust.Cambourne Village College had an initial intake of Year 7 pupils (11- and 12-year-olds) in September 2013, but expanded each year with a new Year 7 intake to become a full secondary school. The school's primary catchment area is Cambourne, and largely admits pupils from Jeavons Wood Primary School, Monkfield Park Primary School, Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary School and The Vine Inter-Church School in Cambourne.The school is located at a purpose-built campus in the north-west of Lower Cambourne. The school has the capacity to accommodate 1250 pupils and 100 staff, and is also available for use by the local community, in common with the Village College tradition in Cambridgeshire. It is the first secondary school to be established in Cambourne. A second campus of the Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary School was built on the same site to replace the previous temporary campus. In May 2015, Cambourne Village College was judged to be "outstanding" by Ofsted.

Bourn Hall Clinic in Bourn, Cambridgeshire, England, is a centre for the treatment of infertility. The original building, Bourn Hall, is about 400 years old. Since becoming a medical centre, it has been greatly extended.

Bourn Castle was in the village of Bourn in Cambridgeshire, 10 miles to the west of Cambridge (grid reference TL322562). It originally consisted of wooden buildings on an earthwork enclosure which was erected by Picot of Cambridge around 1080, which was towards the end of the reign of William the Conqueror. This was burnt down during the reign of Henry III, c.1266. In the early 16th century Bourn Hall was built on part of the site.

Longstowe is a civil parish and small rural village of nearly 200 residents in South Cambridgeshire, England, 12 miles (19 km) west of Cambridge. The population was measured at 205 at the 2011 census. It is situated on the western side of the A1198 road (Ermine Street), running for about a mile along the B1046.

The population of the parish was 1,015 at the time of the 2011 census.Bourn has a Church of England primary school, a doctors' surgery, the Church of St Mary & St Helena, a golf club, a former Royal Air Force bomber airfield (RAF Station Bourn 1940–1945), today used for light aircraft, and an old windmill. Bourn Hall Clinic, the centre for infertility treatment founded in 1980 by IVF pioneers Patrick Steptoe and Professor Robert Edwards, who were responsible for the conception in 1978 of Louise Brown, the world's first IVF or test-tube baby, is also located here. Since its foundation the clinic has assisted in the conception of more than 10,000 babies. A small stream called Bourn Brook runs through the village, eventually joining the River Cam.

Wysing Arts Centre is a contemporary arts residency centre and campus for artistic production, experimentation and learning in South Cambridgeshire, England. The centre was established in 1989 and completed a £1.7 million capital development project in 2008. Across the eleven-acre site the centre holds ten buildings, including 24 low-cost artists' studios, a live-work space, specialist new media facilities, a large gallery, education facilities and a 17th-century grade II listed farmhouse which is used as accommodation for residencies and retreats. The main focus of the centre's activities is the international residency programme, but it also hosts temporary exhibitions, retreats, a programme for young artists, semi-permanent sculptural and architectural commissions and works on offsite projects with many other institutions nationally and internationally. It is a registered charity under English law.In 2010 Wysing was invited to join Plus Tate; one of only two of the twenty organisations in the network whose work is focused on process and production rather than on the presentation of extant works. Alongside Plus Tate, Wysing has a number of partnerships in place with organisations including the Royal College of Art, the Royal Society of Arts, the British Council, the Contemporary Art Society, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge University and the Contemporary Visual Arts Network.

Cambourne railway station is a proposed new railway station to serve Cambourne in Cambridgeshire. It would be situated on the Bedford–Cambridge section of the proposed East West Rail Oxford–Cambridge line.

Old North Road was a railway station on the Varsity Line which served the small village of Longstowe near Bourn in Cambridgeshire. As its name suggests, the station was located on the eastern side of the Old North Road, the A1198 road - a major Roman road which linked London with Lincoln. Opened in 1862, the station was located in a rural area and saw little passenger traffic; it closed together with the line in 1968.
