Heritage Park is a community park in Taylor, Michigan located at 12111 Pardee Road. Many know it as "The Jewel of the City". The park offers baseball diamonds, soccer fields, historical buildings, a public library, and many more events for the public to enjoy. Families gather at Heritage Park to engage in activities with the family outside of the home. Free walking tours, which include descriptions of the origins of each historical building located on-site are available upon request.

Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar is a restaurant, sports grill, and bar located in Southgate, Michigan. It was established in 2005. It is best known for setting the world record of the biggest hamburger commercially available.

The Taylor Sportsplex is a sports facility owned by and located in the City of Taylor, Michigan. The indoor facility contains four arenas that host a variety of sporting events—especially ice hockey and soccer—and a variety of special events.

Baptist Park School, located in Taylor, Michigan, USA, was a private Christian school that opened in 1974 and closed in 2016 due to declining enrollment. The school was founded by the Gilead Baptist Church. Baptist Park school offered classes from preschool through twelfth grade. It was a private, co-educational school, which stressed Baptist religious principles. In 2007–08 there were 213 students.

Taylor Preparatory High School or for short, Taylor Prep is a charter high school located in Taylor, Michigan in Metro Detroit serving grades 9-12th. It has 422 students. It was announced in early 2013 by PrepNet schools after the closed St. Alfred Catholic School was sold by the Archdiocese of Detroit to the company after the elementary was closed in 2011. The school was opened in fall of 2013 under the leadership of Aquan Miles as the schools principal. As of late 2020, the school is now owned and operated by National Heritage Academies. As of fall of 2019 the school offers an early college program in partnership with the Wayne County Community College District.

Taylor is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. Its population was 63,409 at the 2020 census. The area was originally a civil township known as Taylor Township, which was organized in 1848 and later incorporated as the city of Taylor in 1968. Taylor is the most-populated municipality of the Downriver community, and it is located about 5 miles (8.0 km) west of the southern border of Detroit and about 15 miles (24.1 km) southwest of Downtown Detroit. Heritage Park is located within the city and hosts the Junior League World Series, which invites youth baseball players from all over the world for an annual tournament in August.
