Bere Stream

Woodbury Hill is a hill near Bere Regis in Dorset, England. It is the site of an Iron Age hillfort (a scheduled monument), and the location of an annual fair from medieval times until the mid 20th century.

Bere Regis () is a village and civil parish in Dorset, England, situated 6 miles (9.7 km) north-west of Wareham. In the 2011 census the civil parish had a population of 1,745. The village has one shop, a family-owned cheese barn, a post office, and two pubs, The Royal Oak and The Drax Arms. The parish church is St. John the Baptist Church. The village features in the Domesday Book of 1086.

Turners Puddle is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Affpuddle and Turnerspuddle, in the Dorset district, in the ceremonial county of Dorset, England. It is situated on the River Piddle, 7 miles (11 km) north west of Wareham. In 2001 the parish had a population of 60. On 1 April 2010 the parish was abolished and merged with Affpuddle to form "Affpuddle and Turnerspuddle". In the 2011 census this joint parish had 200 households and a population of 436. The parish includes Clouds Hill, a cottage that was the home of T. E. Lawrence and is now run by the National Trust.

Bloxworth House is a Grade I listed manor house just northwest of the village of Bloxworth in Dorset, England. It was built in 1608 by George Savage and was the first brick building in Dorset.

Shitterton is a hamlet in Bere Regis, Dorset, England. It includes a collection of historic thatched buildings dating back to the 18th century and earlier. Its name dates back at least the eleventh century and means "farmstead on the stream used as an open sewer". Shitterton has frequently been noted on lists of unusual place names, due to having the vulgar term "shitter" in its name.

Bloxworth is a village and civil parish in the English county of Dorset, within Wareham Forest on the A35 road 5 miles (8 km) west of Poole. In the 2011 census the civil parish had 80 households and a population of 200. Bloxworth Heath is home to Woolsbarrow Hillfort. To the northwest of the village is Bloxworth House, the first brick building in Dorset. The hamlet of East Bloxworth lies about a mile to the east of the village.

Wareham Forest is an area of countryside in Dorset, England, consisting of open heathland, including Decoy Heath and Gore Heath, and plantations of conifers such as Morden Heath and Bloxworth Heath. The site is managed by Forestry England for conservation and recreation. Situated next to the A35 road between Dorchester and Poole; the forest provides a home for sika deer, the Dartford warbler and a population of sand lizards.

Black Hill Heath (grid reference SY835943) is a 69.67 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Dorset, notified in 1989.

The Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre is a 65-acre (26.3 ha) ape and monkey sanctuary and rescue centre near Wool, Dorset, England.

Woolsbarrow Hillfort is a hillfort on Bloxworth Heath in the district of Purbeck in the county of Dorset, England. It dates to the period from the Late Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age (8th–5th centuries BC) and is classed as an ancient monument. Despite the hillfort only being at an altitude of 220 feet (67 m) it is said to "dominate the surrounding heathland."

Winterborne Muston is a village in Dorset, England. The first name of "Winterborne" comes from the River Winterborne, which flows from west to east through the village. The river only flows overground during the winter, hence the name. To the west is Winterborne Kingston and to the east is Anderson. The river flows through both these villages as well.
