The Woman's Club of Fort Worth is one of the city's oldest membership organizations, formed in 1923 by the members of several existing woman's clubs. The Woman's Club complex comprises eight historic buildings on Fort Worth's Near Southside and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. As with many woman's clubs in the United States, the Woman's Club of Fort Worth has its roots in the Progressive Movement, with its original mission of "the cultural and civic advancement of Fort Worth; and the study of literature, history, science, painting, music, and other fine arts."

Alvarado Park Lake is a reservoir in Johnson County, Texas 2 miles (3.2 km) southwest of Alvarado, Texas. The county-owned reservoir was built in 1966 by Jack P. McKinney for floodwater retention, municipal water storage, and recreation. It is controlled by the City of Alvarado. The lake is formed by damming the Turkey Creek, a tributary of Chambers Creek and the Trinity River. It drains 31 square miles (80 km2) and is impounded by a 3,500-foot-long (1,100 m) dam 49 feet (15 m) high with a spillway level of 704.1 feet (214.6 m). The water is stained to murky due to sediment.The nearest major highways are I-35W and US Hwy 67, each approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) from the lake.

Egan is an unincorporated community in Johnson County, Texas, United States. It is located at the intersection of Farm to Market roads 917 and 2280, approximately 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Cleburne.Egan is part of the Joshua Independent School District.

Walnut Creek is a creek in North Texas. The creek rises to the northeast of Keene in Johnson County, flowing to the Tarrant County near Mansfield. The creek runs to the northeast, forming the border between Dallas and Grand Prairie. The mouth of the creek is west of Duncanville where it meets Mountain Creek.

Mansfield Legacy High School is a public secondary school located in Mansfield, Texas, United States. The school is a part of the Mansfield Independent School District and serves sections of the city of Mansfield, Arlington, as well as unincorporated sections of Tarrant County. Legacy is built on the location of the men’s club. When Mansfield was a small rural community (in the southeast of Ft. Worth), the Kowbell Rodeo was a popular stopping place for cowboys. The land on former US Highway 287, now Business 287, was the place to go for an indoor rodeo experience.

Watson Branch is a stream in Tarrant County, Texas. The stream rises in north Mansfield, flowing to the east, lending its name to the Watson Branch Park. The stream passes under Mouser Way before meeting Walnut Creek near U.S. Route 287.
