Lillian Independent School District

Lillian is an unincorporated community in Johnson County, Texas, United States. It is located along Farm to Market Road 2738, approximately 15 miles (24 km) northeast of Cleburne.

The Woman's Club of Fort Worth is one of the city's oldest membership organizations, formed in 1923 by the members of several existing woman's clubs. The Woman's Club complex comprises eight historic buildings on Fort Worth's Near Southside and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. As with many woman's clubs in the United States, the Woman's Club of Fort Worth has its roots in the Progressive Movement, with its original mission of "the cultural and civic advancement of Fort Worth; and the study of literature, history, science, painting, music, and other fine arts."

The Homesteads is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Johnson County, Texas, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.It is in the northeastern part of the county, 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Alvarado, 14 miles (23 km) west of Midlothian, 8 miles (13 km) south-southwest of Mansfield, and 13 miles (21 km) southeast of Burleson. Downtown Fort Worth is 25 miles (40 km) to the north-northwest.

Mansfield Legacy High School is a public secondary school located in Mansfield, Texas, United States. The school is a part of the Mansfield Independent School District and serves sections of the city of Mansfield, Arlington, as well as unincorporated sections of Tarrant County. Legacy is built on the location of the men’s club. When Mansfield was a small rural community (in the southeast of Ft. Worth), the Kowbell Rodeo was a popular stopping place for cowboys. The land on former US Highway 287, now Business 287, was the place to go for an indoor rodeo experience.

Walnut Creek is a creek in North Texas. The creek rises to the northeast of Keene in Johnson County, flowing to the Tarrant County near Mansfield. The creek runs to the northeast, forming the border between Dallas and Grand Prairie. The mouth of the creek is west of Duncanville where it meets Mountain Creek.

Watson Branch is a stream in Tarrant County, Texas. The stream rises in north Mansfield, flowing to the east, lending its name to the Watson Branch Park. The stream passes under Mouser Way before meeting Walnut Creek near U.S. Route 287.

Alvarado ( AL-və-RAY-doh) is the oldest city in Johnson County, Texas, United States. The population was 4,739 in 2020.The community's first sheriff, A. H. Onstoott, is credited with naming Alvarado for Alvarado, Veracruz, Mexico, where he fought in a battle during the Mexican–American War.

Mansfield is a suburban city in the U.S. state of Texas, and is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex area. The city is located mostly in Tarrant County, with small parts in Ellis and Johnson counties. Its location is approximately 30 miles from Dallas and 20 miles from Fort Worth, and is adjacent to Arlington. As of the 2010 census, the population was 56,368, up from 28,031 in 2000. The estimated population in 2020 is 73,550.

WBAP (820 kHz) is an AM news/talk radio station licensed to Fort Worth, Texas, and serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. WBAP is owned by Cumulus Media and broadcasts with 50,000 watts from a transmitter site in the northwest corner of Mansfield. Its programming is also simulcast on WBAP-FM (93.3) in Haltom City. WBAP is a Class A clear-channel station, using a non-directional antenna. Its nighttime signal can often be heard throughout the Southern, Central, and Midwestern states and Northern Mexico, while its daytime signal provides at least secondary coverage from Oklahoma City to Austin. WBAP is one of the oldest radio stations in Texas, dating back to 1922, when stations in Texas were still given call signs beginning with "W" instead of "K".
