Chachoengsao (Thai: ฉะเชิงเทรา, pronounced [t͡ɕʰàʔ.t͡ɕʰɤ̄ːŋ.sāw]) is one of Thailand's seventy-six provinces (changwat), located in eastern Thailand.

Mueang Chachoengsao (Thai: เมืองฉะเชิงเทรา, pronounced [mɯ̄a̯ŋ t͡ɕʰàʔ.t͡ɕʰɤ̄ːŋ.sāw]), formerly named the Mueang Paet Rio District (Thai: เมืองแปดริ้ว), is the capital district (amphoe mueang) of Chachoengsao province, Eastern Thailand.

Dat Daruni School (Thai: โรงเรียนดัดดรุณี) is a school for girls in Chachoengsao, in Chachoengsao province in central Thailand. The school was named by King Rama VI. Its opening ceremony was on 22 February 1915. At first, Dat Daruni School was a normal school which taught both boys and girls. The school started teaching students from kindergarten level to secondary level. Later on, the number of students in Dat Daruni School increased, but space in the school was insufficient for the number of students, so they stopped serving primary school students. After that Dat Daruni School only taught secondary students, which is Mathayom 1 to Mathayom 6 (or grade 7–12) and all students are female. After that, the school started offering majors which are science-mathematic major and art majors. Both majors are for Mathayom 4-6 students (or grade 10–12). Over the past several years, Dat Daruni school has developed their "Intensive English Program" (IEP) into a "Mini-English Program" (MEP) for Mathayom 1-3 students to provide students with more exposure to English. Additionally, the school recently introduced an "Intensive Science Program" (ISP), for students to receive education primarily based on science. There is also an 'English for Integrated Studies' (EIS) program.

Chachoengsao (Thai: ฉะเชิงเทรา, pronounced [t͡ɕʰàʔ.t͡ɕʰɤ̄ːŋ.sāw]) is a town (thesaban mueang) in central Thailand, capital of Chachoengsao Province. It is on the banks of the Bang Pakong River. It includes tambon Na Mueang and parts of Ban Mai, Bang Tin Pet, Wang Takhian, and Sothon of Mueang Chachoengsao District. In 2006, it had a population of 60,893. The town was established in 1549 during the reign of King Maha Chakkrapat of Ayutthaya and originally was a centre for military recruitment. During the reign of King Maha Thammaracha, the kingdom was in a weak condition due to being defeated by the Burmese. Phraya Lawaek, the Khmer king, conscripted Thais from several towns including Chachoengsao to be in his work force. Chachoengsao is sometimes referred to as "Paet Riu", a name derived from large fish locally caught in the past. Paet Riu literally means "eight cuts" or slices which refers to the way the fish was cooked and served as a local dish in Chachoengsao. The town is about 50 km east of Bangkok and can be accessed by train.

Chachoengsao Town Municipality Stadium (Thai: สนามเทศบาลเมืองฉะเชิงเทรา) is a multi-purpose stadium in Chachoengsao Province, Thailand. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Chachoengsao Hi-Tek F.C. The stadium holds 6,000 people.

Saint Louis School, Chachoengsao (SLC) is a private Catholic school in Chachoengsao, Thailand. The school was established to teach students from the Kindergarten level to Primary level to Secondary Level (Grades 1-12). It is located at 128 Suppakit Street, Na Mueang, Mueang Chachoengsao District.

Wat Sothonwararam is a temple in Chachoengsao Province, Thailand. Located in the Municipality of Mueang Chachoengsao alongside the Bang Pakong River, it was initially named ‘Wat Hong,’ and was built in the late Ayutthaya period. The temple has the ‘Luangpho Phuttha Sothon,’ the revered Buddha image of Chachoengsao province, which is 1.48 metres high, with a lap width of 1.65 metres.

Chachoengsao Junction station (Thai: สถานีชุมทางฉะเชิงเทรา, RTGS: Sathani Chumthang Chachoengsao) is a railway station in eastern Thailand on the State Railway of Thailand's Eastern Line. In Na Mueang Sub-district, Mueang Chachoengsao District, Chachoengsao Province. Its former name was Paet Riu. The station is a class 1 railway station 70 km (43.5 mi) from Bangkok railway station.

Benchamaratrungsarit 2 School (Thai: โรงเรียนเบญจมราชรังสฤษฎิ์ 2), informally Ben 2, is in the provincial capital of Chachoengsao, Thailand. It is a public secondary school with 1900 students secondary education 1 to 6. The curriculum covers nine subjects: mathematics, science, English, Thai, Chinese, social studies, vocational studies, art and physical education. Students are required to pass examinations in all subjects each year. The school participates in the Lab School Project of Thailand. This is a government initiative designed to improve the standard of schools in Thailand. It emphasis a student-centered learning-by-doing approach to education. The school has an extremely popular English program where students study English, science, mathematics and computer science through English with foreign teachers.

Khlong Bang Phra railway station is a railway station located in Bang Toei Subdistrict, Mueang Chachoengsao District, Chachoengsao Province. It is a class 3 railway station located 53.99 km (33.5 mi) from Bangkok railway station.

Khlong Suan 100 Years Market, also referred to simply as Khlong Suan Market (Thai: ตลาดคลองสวน 100 ปี, ตลาดคลองสวน) is a traditional waterfront marketplace in Bang Bo and Ban Pho districts, Thailand. The market is located along both sides of the canal Khlong Prawet Burirom, overlapping areas of Chachoengsao and Samut Prakan provinces. The bridge connecting these two parts together is called Atsawanit. The market began during King Rama V's reign at the same time as Khlong Prawet Buri Rom was canalized. It is one of many communities and markets between Bangkok and east along both sides of the canal. In an era when water travel and transportation were still prosperous, it was important community centre, transit point for commuters, and cargo port. The water bus picked up passengers at Chachoengsao, ran past Khlong Suan Market, and eventually arrived at Pratunam pier in Bangkok. This passenger transport business was operated by Nai Lert.As time passed, the market was sluggish, and no more boats arrived. In 1999, it was revived and renamed as Khlong Suan 100 Years Market.There are two-storey wooden shophouses on the waterfront in Chinese-Thai style, and Thai food and desserts, such as Khanom khai, Khanom khai pla, dried snakeskin gourami and their roes from Bang Bo and elsewhere. There are kopi tiam coffee shops on the Chachoengsao side, some of which sell the cold beverage oliang.This market is open daily.
