The Frankstown Branch Juniata River is a 46.0-mile-long (74.0 km) tributary of the Juniata River in Blair and Huntingdon counties, Pennsylvania, in the United States.The headwater tributaries of the Frankstown Branch rise on the slopes of the Allegheny Front south of Altoona. The Frankstown Branch forms at the village of Claysburg by the confluence of Beaverdam Creek and South Poplar Run, then flows north along the western base of Dunning Mountain. Passing just east of Hollidaysburg, the river turns east briefly at Frankstown before heading northeast along the western base of Lock Mountain. Turning southeast at Point View, the river breaks through the mountain in a water gap and passes Williamsburg, then turns north again, now against the western base of Tussey Mountain. At Water Street, the river again turns east to break through a water gap, then passes the borough of Alexandria before joining the Little Juniata River to form the main stem of the Juniata River. The Warrior Ridge Dam and Hydroelectric Plant is located on the Frankstown Branch in Logan Township and Porter Township in Huntingdon County.

It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The CDP is in central Blair County, on the west side of Frankstown Township. It is bordered to the southeast by U.S. Route 22, which leads southwest 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to Hollidaysburg and east 25 miles (40 km) to Huntingdon. The community and surrounding township give their name to the Frankstown Branch Juniata River, which passes the CDP just south of US-22.

It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The CDP is in south-central Blair County, in the eastern part of Blair Township. It is on the south side of the valley of the Frankstown Branch Juniata River. Reservoir Road is the main street through the community, leading northeast 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to Loop and southwest 4 miles (6 km) to McKee. Hollidaysburg, the Blair county seat, is 4 miles (6 km) to the north by road. Loop Mountain rises to the southeast to an elevation of 2,495 feet (760 m).

Blair County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1875–1876, and is a "T" shaped stone building in the Gothic Revival style. The entrance is flanked by two square, three-story towers with truncated pyramidal roofs. The building generally features elaborate stonework and a five-story clock tower topped by a tall stone spire. A three-story rear addition was built in 1906.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Hollidaysburg is a borough in and the county seat of Blair County in the U.S. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is located on the Juniata River, 5 miles (8 km) south of Altoona and is part of the Altoona, Pennsylvania, metropolitan statistical area. In 1900, 2,998 people lived in the borough, in 1910, 3,734 lived there, and in 1940, 5,910 residents were counted. The population was 5,641 at the 2020 census. Coal, iron ore, ganister, and limestone are found in the vicinity. In the past, the borough had foundries and machine shops, a silk mill, car works and classification yards. From 1834 to 1854, the borough was an important port on Pennsylvania Main Line Canal, where the Juniata Division Canal connected to the Allegheny Portage Railroad. The center of Hollidaysburg is frequently referred to as "The Diamond," where the buildings and parking spaces form a diamond. This area serves as the hub for parades, festivals and other town celebrations.

Highland Hall, also known as the Courthouse Annex, was a Presbyterian seminary, an historic school building for females, a radio school during World War II, and a county office building before it became a retirement home in 2016. Geeseytown is on the north side of the valley of the Frankstown Branch Juniata River, one of the main headwater branches of the Juniata River which leads east to the Susquehanna.

The Senior High School is located at 1510 North Montgomery Street in Hollidaysburg, Blair County. The high school serves the populations living in Hollidaysburg, Duncansville, Newry, and a small portion of Altoona (Eldorado). According to the National Center for Education Statistics, this high school reported an enrollment of eight hundred and forty pupils in grades ten through twelve during the 2018-2019 academic year.

It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The CDP is in central Blair County, in the north part of Blair Township. It is bordered to the north, east, and south by the borough of Hollidaysburg. U.S. Route 22 (Broad Street) runs next to the southern edge of the CDP, while the parallel Altoona–Hollidaysburg line of the Norfolk Southern Railway forms the actual CDP/borough boundary. US 22 leads east into Hollidaysburg and west 1 mile (1.6 km) to Duncansville. Beaverdam Branch, an east-flowing tributary of the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River, runs through the northern part of the CDP.
