Eastern Shores is a neighborhood within the city of North Miami Beach in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. It is located about 12 miles (19 km) north of Miami, just south of the city of Aventura.

Sunny Isles Beach (SIB or more commonly Sunny Isles, and officially the City of Sunny Isles Beach) is a city located on a barrier island in northeast Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The city is part of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida, and is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Intracoastal Waterway on the west. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 22,342.Sunny Isles Beach is an area of cultural diversity with stores lining Collins Avenue, the main thoroughfare through the city. It is renowned for having the 14th tallest skyline in the United States, and according to the 2020 U.S. Census it was the mostly densely populated incorporated place in the United States outside of the New York City metropolitan area. It is a growing resort area, and developers like Michael Dezer have invested heavily in construction of high-rise hotels and condominiums while licensing the Donald Trump name for some of the buildings for promotional purposes. Sunny Isles Beach has a central location, minutes from Bal Harbour to the south, and Aventura to the north and west. Sunny Isles Beach was the 2008 site of MTV's annual Spring Break celebration, with headquarters at the local Newport Beachside Resort.

Aventura Mall is a shopping mall located in Aventura, Florida. It is the third-largest mall in the United States by total square feet of retail space and the largest mall in Florida. The mall features JCPenney, Macy's, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdale's, in addition to a 24-screen AMC Theatres. Aventura Mall has more than 50 eateries and restaurants, including Treats Food Hall, and the experiential Arts Aventura Mall program. The Brightline Aventura Station, which opened in December 2022, is located across Biscayne Boulevard from the mall. A pedestrian bridge across Biscayne Blvd. is planned, to provide direct access to the mall from the station. In the interim, Brightline is providing free shuttle bus service.

Norman S. Edelcup/Sunny Isles Beach K–8 is part of the Miami-Dade County School District. It educates students from kindergarten through eighth grade from Sunny Isles Beach, Eastern Shores, and Golden Beach. The school opened in 2008. It was initially discussed as a means to relieve class sizes in Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor Elementary School, Ojus Elementary School, and Highland Oaks Middle School.

The Edmond J. Safra Synagogue is an Orthodox Sephardic synagogue located at 19275 Mystic Pointe Dr in Aventura, Florida, 33180. It is led by Rabbi Yosef Galimidi.

JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa is a luxury resort in the city of Aventura, Florida. It features golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, a spa, tennis facilities, and restaurants.

Scheck Hillel Community School, known prior to 2012 as the Samuel Scheck Hillel Community Day School, is a private, Jewish, co-ed pK–12 school in Ojus, Florida, with a North Miami Beach address. It is located adjacent to the Michael-Ann Russel Jewish Community Center. It is the largest Jewish Day school in South Florida, and one of the largest in the country. Hillel is both a 2011 and 2020 Blue Ribbon school.

Aventura station is a Brightline station in Ojus, Florida. It is located on West Dixie Highway, west of the Aventura Mall and the city of Aventura. The station is built on land purchased by Brightline (then known as Virgin Trains USA) and donated to Miami-Dade County, which funded a portion of the construction with $76 million. A groundbreaking ceremony was held September 3, 2020. Prior to Brightline's ongoing suspension of service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the station had been expected to open in the fall of 2021. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on December 20, 2022. Despite a scheduled opening date of December 21, 2022, passenger service did not begin until a few days later, on December 24, 2022, due to some last-minute finishing touches to the station.Inter-city service is provided to MiamiCentral in about 17 minutes, and trains run as far north as Orlando. The station is 34,000 square feet (3,200 m2) on a 3-acre (1.2 ha) site. There are 240 parking spaces at the Aventura station, as well as a Miami-Dade Transit bus drop-off. Complimentary shuttle service is available to and from the mall. Brightline has also started the design of another bridge that will connect the platform to Aventura Mall in the future.The infill station is expected in the future to serve as the terminus of planned commuter rail services in Miami-Dade County and Broward County. The Miami-Dade line would run between Aventura and MiamiCentral, and the Broward line would operate as far north as Deerfield Beach.

Greynolds Park is a 265-acre (1.07 km2) urban park in metropolitan Miami, just north of North Miami Beach, Florida, United States.

The Oleta River, situated north of Miami, drains the northern Everglades into Biscayne Bay, allowing freshwater to reach the Atlantic Ocean. Today, it is the only natural river in Miami-Dade County that has not been dredged and channelized. Its seven miles (11 km) of shoreline are largely undeveloped, making the Oleta River Corridor a vestige of wilderness in a matrix of urbanization. Between the Everglades and Biscayne Bay, over six miles (10 km) of trail have been developed for use by off-road vehicles: slightly more than a mile of expert singletrack, a half-mile of intermediate singletrack, almost three miles (5 km) of novice singletrack, and more than two miles (3 km) of paved pathway. They all connect in what is essentially an out-and-back, but various loops of different lengths and difficulties can be ridden off the main out-and-back. The extinct Tequesta Indians canoed the waters of the Oleta River over 400 years ago and today, a Tequesta village and midden site is preserved nearby as a reminder of the river's past human history. This area now represents one of the last wilderness areas available to wildlife in northern Miami-Dade County.

The Porsche Design Tower is a luxury residential skyscraper in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, designed by Sieger Suarez Architects and branded by Porsche Design. At 641 feet (195 m) with 60 stories, it is one of the tallest buildings in Sunny Isles Beach. It is unique for its inclusion of a robotic parking garage, having 284 parking spaces for 132 units allowing unit owners to park two or four cars right outside their unit. The tower also extensively features premium glasswork by prominent international glass firm Continental Glass Systems.Each unit ranges in cost from $4 million to $32.5 million. Drivers ride up the elevator in their cars and are placed into their own "garage" adjacent to their unit. The tower has three elevators to take cars to their units and estimated to cost about $560 million to build.The groundbreaking commenced on April 19, 2014 at the Sales Center of the Porsche Design Tower in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The building was completed in January 2017.

Turnberry Ocean Club Residences is a residential tower in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The building broke ground in fall of 2016 and was completed in 2020. It is 649 feet tall with 52 stories and has 154 three to six bedroom residences.
