Cross Keys is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Blair County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The CDP is in western Blair County, in the eastern part of Allegheny Township. It is bordered to the west by U.S. Route 22/Pennsylvania Route 764, to the south by the US-22/Interstate 99 interchange, and to the east by the Altoona–Hollidaysburg line of the Norfolk Southern Railway. Altoona is 6 miles (10 km) to the north, Duncansville is 2 miles (3 km) to the south, and Hollidaysburg is 3 miles (5 km) to the southeast. Cross Keys is in the valley of Beaverdam Branch, which flows southeastward to join the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River east of Hollidaysburg.

It is bordered to the south by Allegheny Township and to the east by the Eldorado neighborhood in the city of Altoona. Eldorado sits on the south side of the valley of Burgoon Run, at the base of the Allegheny Front, which rises to an elevation of 2,421 feet (738 m) just over 2 miles (3 km) to the west. Horseshoe Curve on the Pittsburgh Line of the Norfolk Southern Railway is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to the northwest, up the valley of Burgoon Run.

It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The CDP is in western Blair County, in the eastern part of Allegheny Township. It is named for the valley in which it sits, drained to the east by Spencer Run coming down from the Allegheny Front. Carson Valley Road leads east to Pennsylvania Route 764 at Cross Keys and west up the valley 2 miles (3 km) to the foot of the Allegheny Front escarpment. U.S. Route 22, a four-lane freeway, runs south and west of Carson Valley, with the closest access to the east from PA 764. Altoona is 6 miles (10 km) north of the CDP, and Hollidaysburg is 4 miles (6 km) to the southeast. Cresson is 12 miles (19 km) to the west via Route 22.

Knickerbocker Historic District is a national historic district located at Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 153 contributing rowhouse buildings in a residential area of Altoona. The buildings were primarily built between 1903 and 1930, as affordable worker's housing and reflect a number of popular architectural styles including Colonial Revival and Classical Revival. The buildings feature decorative parapets, bay windows, porch posts, pediments, and a variety of ornamentation. The district is visually dominated by the former Knikerbocker Hotel (c. 1906).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The CDP is southwest of the center of Blair County, in the east part of Allegheny Township. It is bordered to the south by the borough of Duncansville, to the east by Interstate 99, to the west by U.S. Route 22, and to the north by exit 28 connecting the two highways. It is 4 miles (6 km) by road west of Hollidaysburg, the county seat, and it is 7 miles (11 km) south of Altoona.

Setsucon is an annual two day anime convention held during January at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The convention's name comes from the Japanese word setsu, meaning "snow". It is organized by the Penn State Anime Organization (PSAO). The convention is family-friendly.

Sci-Fi Valley Con (formerly Sci-Fi in the Valley Con) is an annual three day multi-genre convention held during June at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Blair County Convention Center is a convention center located just south of Altoona, Pennsylvania. It has two floor levels with the exhibit floor and ballroom on separate levels. Rocco Alianiello is the Executive Director and COO. The facility is near the Interstate 99 and Route 36.

Llyswen Historic District is a national historic district located at Altoona in Blair County, Pennsylvania, United States. The district includes 166 contributing buildings in a residential area of Altoona. The buildings are primarily single-family dwellings built between 1895 and 1940, and reflect a number of popular architectural styles including Colonial Revival and Queen Anne. Notable non-residential buildings include the Llyswen Methodist Episcopal Church, Ward Avenue United Presbyterian Church, Baker Elementary School and Llyswen Station. Llyswen Station is a historic railway station designed by the Beezer Brothers.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Leap-The-Dips is a wooden roller coaster which is located at Lakemont Park near Altoona, Pennsylvania. Built in 1902 by the Federal Construction Company and designed by E. Joy Morris, it is the oldest operating roller coaster in the world and believed to be the last surviving side friction roller coaster of the figure-eight variety. Leap-the-Dips operated continuously until 1985, when it closed after falling into disrepair. A fund-raising campaign led to its restoration, with refurbishment efforts beginning in 1997 and ending with a grand-reopening in 1999. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1996 and received the Coaster Classic and Coaster Landmark awards from American Coaster Enthusiasts.

Toboggan was a steel roller coaster located at Lakemont Park in Altoona, Pennsylvania. It was a portable steel coaster built by Chance Rides, one of many Toboggan installations. This specific one had previously traveled in Florida with Deggeller Shows.
