Church's Hill Halt railway station

Windmill Tump, also known as Rodmarton Chambered Tomb, is a Neolithic burial site, a stone tumulus or barrow. It is a mound covering the site of graves, in the form of a cairn, located in Gloucestershire. It lies to the west of the village of Rodmarton, south of the road between Cherington and Tarlton. There are trees growing on the site.

Trull House is a Grade II listed country house near the hamlet of Trull, to the north of the village of Ashley and about 3.4 miles (5.5 km) northeast of Tetbury in Gloucestershire, England. The seven-bedroom house, built in 1843, was once owned by Cooper Trull Ian Norman Mitchell, High Sheriff of Gloucestershire for 1969–70.

Ashley is a village and civil parish in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire, England, about 8 miles south-west of Cirencester. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 142, decreasing to 131 at the 2011 census. To the north, across the A433 road, is Trull House. The Fosse Way forms part of the parish boundary and also the county boundary with Wiltshire. Ashley was one of several parishes which were transferred from Wiltshire to Gloucestershire in 1930. The Church of St James was built in the Norman period and rebuilt around 1200. It is a grade II* listed building.Ashley Manor was originally built in the 15th century and expanded in the 17th.

Rodmarton Platform was a railway station serving the village of Rodmarton on the Tetbury branch line between Cirencester and Tetbury in Gloucestershire. The station opened on 1 September 1904 and closed in April 1964 as a result of the Beeching Axe. Rodmarton Platform was the first Great Western station to use the name "platform". The term originally came from Scottish railway stations was used by Great Western to describe stations smaller than fully-fledged stations but longer than halts, and ones that offered services such as ticket sales, mail transport and some light goods. The wooden platform carried a "Pagoda" shelter for passenger use.Rodmarton Platform was opened to serve the small village of Rodmarton, though the railway and station was sited some distance from the village.

Rodmarton Manor is a large country house, in Rodmarton, near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, built for the Biddulph family. It is a Grade I listed building. It was constructed in the early 20th century in an Arts and Crafts style, to a design by Ernest Barnsley. After Ernest's death in 1925, it was completed by Sidney Barnsley, his brother, and then by Norman Jewson, Ernest's son-in-law. All the construction materials were obtained locally, and hand worked by local craftsmen. The three wings of the house are angled around a central, circular, lawned courtyard. The east wing, originally for servants, has been converted into flats, whilst the central "public" wing was not lived in by the family, instead being used for community teaching and events. Crafts were taught in the building and the vast majority of the furniture was commissioned for the house and built locally. The southern gardens used hedges to create specific spaces, giving the impression of exterior "rooms" next to the house, with an extensive kitchen garden which provided much of the food for the house. The house was described by the designer Charles Ashbee as the single best example of the Arts and Crafts movement. During World War II, the house was used as an evacuation point for a London Catholic school, and a maternity house due to the shortage of midwives.

Trouble House Halt was a small station on the Tetbury branch line between Kemble and Tetbury between 1959 and 1964, when the line closed as part of the Beeching cuts.

Cotswold Airport (IATA: GBA, ICAO: EGBP) (formerly Kemble Airfield) is a private general aviation airport, near the village of Kemble in Gloucestershire, England. Located 4.5 NM (8.3 km; 5.2 mi) southwest of Cirencester, it was built as a Royal Air Force (RAF) station and was known as RAF Kemble. The Red Arrows aerobatics team was based there until 1983. Since 2000, it is used for the storage and recycling of retired airliners, as well as flying schools, clubs, and industry. Cotswold Airport is clear of controlled airspace, allowing free movement for training aircraft. It is centrally positioned between Cheltenham, Gloucester and Swindon. The nearest railway station is at Kemble.

Cherington is a village and civil parish in the Cotswold District of Gloucestershire, England. It lies under 3 miles south east of Minchinhampton and 4 miles north of Tetbury. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 Census was 224.

Aston Down is in Gloucestershire, South West England, 2+1⁄2 miles (4 km) east of Minchinhampton, 6 miles (10 km) southeast of Stroud and 7 miles (11 km) west of Cirencester. The nearest settlement is the large village of Chalford, 1 mile (1.6 km) to the northwest. The airfield was used by the Royal Air Force from the First World War until 1967 when the Cotswold Gliding Club moved in from their previous base near Tetbury. In 2002 the land and most of hangars surrounding the airfield were sold by the Ministry of Defence to private developers for use as industrial units.
