Vestreno (Valvarronese: Vestren) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) north of Milan and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 296 and an area of 2.7 square kilometres (1.0 sq mi).Vestreno borders the following municipalities: Dervio, Dorio, Sueglio.

Dervio (Comasco: Derf [ˈdɛrf]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located on the eastern shore of Lake Como, about 70 kilometres (43 mi) north of Milan and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Lecco. It is located on a peninsula with same name on the Lake Como, at the mouth of the Varrone river Valley. The Piona Priory or Piona Abbey, is a religious complex on the Lecco bank of Lake Como in the territory of the comune of Colico, northern Italy. The abbey is set at the top of a small peninsula, the Olgiasca, which – like a crooked finger – points into the lake, creating an inlet.

The Albano is a stream (or torrente) of Lombardy, Italy which flows through the province of Como. It rises from the Bocchetta di Sommafiume, in the commune of Germasino and runs eastwards through the Albano valley entering Lake Como at Dongo. Between the communes of Germasino and Dongo Albano passes through Garzeno. The most common fish are brown trout (both Salmo trutta morpha fario and S. trutta morpha lacustris), rainbow trout, and chub. The fauna supported by the stream also include amphibians such as the fire salamander, and insects such as stream mayflies.

The Liro is a torrente, or stream, in the north Italian Province of Como. The drainage basin is triangular in shape; its principal source lies on Monte Marmontana near the Swiss border and flows through the Valle San Iorio (also Jorio). The second source lies to the northeast on the slopes of Pizzo Martello and forms the Valle del Dosso. Near Dosso del Liro the stream receives the waters of the torrente Ronzone, which flows from Monte Duria through the Val d’Inferno. The Liro enters Lake Como at Gravedona.

The Livo (Italian: Torrente di Livo) is an Italian river that arises at an elevation of about 1,800 metres (5,900 ft) in the alpine basin of Lake Darengo, northwest of Lake Como. The river runs through the homonymous valley and flows into Lake Como in Domaso.

Gravedona ed Uniti is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Milan and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Como. The municipality of Gravedona ed Uniti contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) of Negrana, San Carlo, Segna, Trevisa, Traversa and, following an act of fusion passed by Lombardy Region, the annexed former municipalities of Consiglio di Rumo and Germasino, included on May 16, 2011.The town of Gravedona has a small harbour and overlooks Lake Como and the eastern shoreline. On 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,669 and an area of 6.2 square kilometres (2.4 sq mi). After the enlargement of 2011, the municipality rose to an area of 40.8 square kilometres (15.8 sq mi) and a population of 4,222 inhabitants. Gravedona ... is situated at the mouth of a gorge. The handsome Palazzo del Pero with four towers, at the upper end, was built in 1586 by Pellegrino Tibaldi for the Milanese Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio. Adjoining the venerable church of San Vincenzo rises the 12th century Romanesque Baptistery of Santa Maria del Tiglio, with campanile, containing two Christian inscriptions of the 5th century. Gravedona ed Uniti borders the following municipalities: Colico, Domaso, Dongo, Dosso del Liro, Garzeno, San Nazzaro Val Cavargna, Peglio, Stazzona and, in Switzerland, Roveredo, Sant'Antonio and San Vittore.

Consiglio di Rumo is a frazione of the comune of Gravedona ed Uniti , Province of Como, Lombardy, northern Italy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Milan and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Como, on the border with Switzerland. It was a separate comune until May 16, 2011, when it was annexed by Gravedona, following an act of fusion passed by Lombardy Region.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 672 and an area of 7.5 square kilometres (2.9 sq mi).Stazzona borders the following municipalities: Consiglio di Rumo, Dongo, Germasino.

Germasino was a former municipality in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) north of Milan and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Como, on the border with Switzerland. On May 16, 2011, it was annexed by Gravedona, following an act of fusion passed by Lombardy Region. When it was disbanded, it had a population of 253 and an area of 18.2 km2. Germasino bordered the municipalities of Consiglio di Rumo, Dongo, Garzeno, San Nazzaro Val Cavargna, Stazzona and, in Switzerland, Roveredo, San Vittore and Sant'Antonio.
