The Grotto (San Antonio)

F.I.S.H. is an outdoor 2009 sculpture depicting a school of fish by Donald Lipski, installed underneath the 1-35 overpass near Camden Street in San Antonio, Texas, United States. The installation features 25 7-foot (2.1 m) fiberglass resin sculptures of long-eared sunfish, each of which are hand-painted and anatomically correct. One additional fish is displayed inside The DoSeum, a children's museum. The sculpture is part of the collection of Public Art San Antonio.

Hotel Emma, once a 19th-century brewhouse, is a 146-room boutique hotel in the historic Pearl District of San Antonio, Texas, United States. It has a library, bar, club room, restaurant and grocer. Hotel Emma is named after Emma Koehler, wife of Pearl President Otto Koehler. The structure was originally built in 1894 on 23 acres as the City Brewery (later becoming Pearl Brewery), and for a time was the tallest building in San Antonio. It was designed by Chicago architect August Maritzen in Second Empire style.

The Old Lone Star Brewery complex is located at 200 West Jones Avenue, downtown San Antonio, county of Bexar, in the U.S. state of Texas. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Pearl Brewing Company (also known as the Pearl Brewery or just Pearl) was an American brewery, established in 1883 in Downtown San Antonio, Texas, USA. In 1985, Pearl's parent company purchased the Pabst Brewing Company and assumed the Pabst name. In 1999, the Pabst Brewing Company began transferring its production to Miller Brewing, on a contract basis, and closing all of its breweries. Pearl beer is still in production at Miller's Fort Worth, Texas, facility, but the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio was closed in 2001. Since then, the former brewery was purchased by Silver Ventures, Inc., which has made the property the crown jewel in revitalization efforts of southern Midtown and northern Downtown San Antonio.

Earl Abel's is a popular restaurant in San Antonio, Texas that opened in 1933 and existed at one location at Broadway and Hildebrand from 1940 until 2006. It has been popular for its diverse menu ranging from Fried Chicken and Rainbow Trout to its selection of desserts including German chocolate cake and lemon meringue pie; its clientele included the well-to-do from nearby Alamo Heights, businessmen and politicians including Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez who got in a fist fight at the restaurant in 1986 with a fellow customer who called him a communist, as well as many U.S. Army personnel stationed at nearby Fort Sam Houston.

The San Antonio Municipal Auditorium was a building located at 100 Auditorium Circle, San Antonio, Texas. It was built as a memorial to American soldiers killed in World War I. The San Antonio Municipal Auditorium was also used as a concert venue.The building was rebuilt and expanded into the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts in 2009-2014.

It consists of a central library, 29 branch libraries (as of the fall of 2017), and a library portal. SAPL was awarded the National Medal for Museum and Library Service in 2006.In 2003, SAPL celebrated its centennial. New patrons received special centennial gold library cards instead of the usual purple cards.

It opened in 1984 as Interfirst Bank Plaza, was designed by the Houston office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and is 28 stories high.The building has a postmodern design and a roof height of 118 meters.It is the largest office building in the city with 533,171 feet of office space. It is also the city's 6th tallest building. The building in downtown San Antonio was purchased on August 14, 2017, by USAA. In 2016 a piece of art called Kinetic Skyline was installed on the side of Bank of America Plaza

The Aurora Apartment Hotel (or simply the Aurora Hotel) is a historic, high-rise building located in the Tobin Hill neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas. The building is twelve stories high and the exterior is in the Neo-Gothic architectural style. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 14, 2021. On August 24, 1930, the Aurora opened its doors as one of San Antonio's grandest hotels of the time. The Aurora catered to the well-known and the well-to-do of the day, including Hollywood elite and former First Lady Mamie Geneva Doud Eisenhower.In September 2007, Loopy, Ltd., a real estate company, purchased the Aurora building. Today, the Aurora is a 105-unit apartment complex, occupied almost exclusively by elderly and mentally and physically disabled residents. The Aurora is part of a list of qualifying properties for San Antonio's Section 8 housing. Due to its highly government-subsidized nature, the Aurora always enjoys 100% occupancy and a long wait list for new tenants. It’s just like it was five years ago. Nothing’s happened in between. Ursuline Academy is a former all-girls Catholic school located at 300 Augusta St. in downtown San Antonio, Texas. The school is now occupied by the Southwest School of Art.The school was founded in 1851 by Jean-Marie Odin, with construction on the building taking place from 1848 to 1851. It was designed by architects Francois Giraud and Jules Poincard and was built using the rammed earth technique. Over the next several decades, the campus was expanded to include two chapels: one in 1951 and a larger one in 1868, a dorm building in 1866, a priest house in the 1880s and lastly a second school building in 1910. In 1965, the school was closed and moved to northwest side of San Antonio, with the buildings left abandoned until 1971. The property was then bought by the San Antonio Conservation Society and was restored throughout the next decade. It was then occupied by the Southwest School of Art, which has been based in the building since. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in November 1969.
