Tour Initiale (previously known as tour Nobel) is an office building located in La Défense business district just west of Paris, France. The 105 m (344 ft) Tour Initiale was the first office tower built in the La Défense district with its construction being completed in 1966. In 1988, the tower was given an internal renovation, and the new name of Tour Initiale. The Tour Initiale was designed by architects Jean de Mailly and Jacques Depussé and engineer Jean Prouvé who designed the building's glass facade. The tower uses curved glass on the building's corners, which, at the time of construction, was generally unknown in France and the glass had to be imported from the United States.

The Link is a 242-meter (791 ft), 51-story skyscraper currently under construction in Puteaux, in the La Défense district of Paris, in France. It was designed by French architect Philippe Chiambaretta.The tower will house the new head office of TotalEnergies. Upon completion in 2025 The Link will be the tallest skyscraper in France.

Esplanade de La Défense (French pronunciation: ​[ɛsplanad də la defɑ̃s]) is a station on Paris Métro Line 1 on the outskirts of La Défense on the border of Courbevoie and Puteaux. It has an island platform because of limitations on space due it being enclosed in a site originally earmarked for one of the underpasses of the A14 autoroute (which runs through La Défense underground).

Tour CB21, formerly Tour Gan, is an office skyscraper located in La Défense, the high-rise business district situated west of Paris, France. It was designed by celebrated American architect Max Abramovitz. Built from 1972 to 1974, the tower is 179 m (587 ft) tall at roof height. However, it reaches 187 m (614 ft) once including the antenna located on the roof. It is the fourth-tallest skyscraper in La Défense after Tour First, Tour Total and Tour Areva. Its ground shape is in the form of a Greek cross. In 1972, during construction, a protest campaign opposed the building of Tour Gan. Protesters demanded a reduction in height. However, the tower was completed at the planned height. Today, the main tenants are Suez Environnement and AIG France. The structure is owned by Fonciere des Regions.

Tour First (previously known as Tour UAP between 1974–1998, and as Tour Axa between 1998–2007) is an office skyscraper in Courbevoie, in La Défense, the business district of the Paris metropolitan area. The tower was built in 1974 by Bouygues for the UAP insurance company. The building was 159 m (522 ft) at that time. Its ground shape was in the form of a three-pointed star whose branches were separated each by a 120° angle. This particular shape was chosen to symbolize the merger of the three French insurance companies that were at the origin of UAP. The tower was renamed Tour Axa when UAP was bought by the Axa insurance company in 1996. Large-scale renovation of the tower began in 2007 and was completed in 2011. The exterior appearance of the building was completely changed, with extra height added to the tower. The renovated tower, now known as Tour First, is 225 m (738 ft) at roof height, and 231 m (758 ft) including its spire, with a total floor space of 86,707 m2 (933,310 sq ft). It is currently the tallest skyscraper in France, only surpassed in height by the Eiffel Tower. Another Axa tower exists in New York City, US, which is 228.6 m (751 ft) tall; Tour AXA in Montreal, Quebec, Canada was completed in 1974 and is 104 m (341 ft).

Tour Generali (English: Generali Tower) was a skyscraper planned for construction in the business quarter of La Défense in Courbevoie (Hauts-de-Seine, France). (Note that Generali also owns another prominent high-rise building on Avenue Louise in Brussels, which is also known locally as the "Tour Generali".) The project was officially initiated on 18 October 2006 and is being built for Italian insurance company Assicurazioni Generali. Part of the modernisation of La Défense, the project is being constructed by Vinci on the old site of the Iris building, which was completed in 1983. Tour Generali would have an estimated height of 319 meters (1100 feet) from ground level, at a total cost estimate of 500 million euros. The building would have had 400m² of PV cells, 800m² of solar panels and 18 axial wind turbines on site to produce energy. Other environmental initiatives being taken in the project include mixed-mode ventilation with night purging, use of thermal mass, district heating/cooling and multi-service chilled beams (e.g. ventilation, cooling heating and lighting). This building was to be constructed as a "green" building, and would have include a wind turbines in its spire, solar panels, and other environmentally friendly elements. The main entrance of the tower would have been at the 6th level of the tower along the elevated esplanade/promenade, which rises 18 metres above ground level. The Tour Generali had undergone a redesign and was shortened to 265m, which meant it would have longer held the title of the tallest building in the European Union. The project was cancelled in 2011.

Tour Alto is an office skyscraper in Courbevoie, in La Défense, the business district of the Paris metropolitan area.The tower was built in 2020 by Bouygues. The building is 160 m (520 ft) from the street and 150 m from the slab of La Défense on its eastern facade alone for a total of 38 floors. Its rounded shape gradually widens upwards and extends its hold in space by an offset of 12cm towards the outside of the edge beam, on each floor. Thanks to this singular shape, the surface of the levels goes from 700 m2 at the foot of the Tower to 1,500 m2 at the top.Work began in September 2016 for delivery in 2020.

Tour Saint-Gobain (previously known as Tour M2) is an office skyscraper designed by Valode & Pistre in Courbevoie, in La Défense, the business district of the Paris metropolitan area.It hosts the head office of the French company Saint-Gobain. It measures 167.52 meters in height from the Parvis de la Défense and 177.95 meters from the ground.The first stone was laid on 19 April 2017 by Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and CEO of Saint-Gobain, Gabriele Galateri di Genola, Chairman of Generali, and Xavier Huillard, Chairman and CEO of Vinci.

Tours Odyssey is a project to redevelop the Miroirs complex by 2026 into three mixed-use skyscrapers.Located in the La Défense business district in the city of Courbevoie, near Paris, Towers C/, O/ and D/ will be 187, 174 and 108 m high respectively. Designed by architects Jean-Luc Crochon, Jeanne Gang and Nayla Mecattaf, the complex will be 141,000 m2.The building permit for the project has been approved in December 2021.

The tower is located on the banks of the Seine and offers a panorama over the historical center of Paris.

Tour Aurore is a 110-metre, 29-story office building in the La Defense central business district outside of Paris. It was designed by Coyne et Bellier and constructed in 1970 but will be dismantled in 2013 to make way for Tour Air2.

The Tour D2 is a 171-metre (561 ft) tall skyscraper in the La Défense business district outside of Paris, France. It is located in the municipality of Courbevoie and is used for office purposes. It includes a public garden on its roof.
