Ramsden is a hamlet in the English county of Worcestershire. Ramsden is located due west of the town of Pershore. It lies on the Regional Cycle Route 46, connecting Pershore and Worcester.

Pensham is a small village located a mile or so from Pershore in Worcestershire, England. Pensham is surrounded on three sides by a loop of the River Avon, despite the proximity of the river Pensham has no records of ever being flooded. Pensham no longer has a pub or shop, but since 2000 there has been a village field after some of the residents raised enough funds to buy a couple of acres of land. This has since been planted to provide a wooded area and an orchard area, with an open area between for village functions and sports. Pensham is a quiet area to live and any noise that is heard is often a tractor or a dog barking. There are many tracks to walk and from time to time ramblers visit the village.

Defford is a small village in the county of Worcestershire, England, located between the towns of Pershore and Upton-upon-Severn. It was once part of the Royal forest of Horewell. The woodlands were mostly removed around the time of the Civil War.Defford also has a primary school, Defford cum Besford First School, and three pubs. Defford is home to one of the radio telescopes that make up the Jodrell Bank MERLIN (Multi-Element Radio Linked Interferometer Network) radio telescope array linking six observing stations that together form a powerful telescope with an effective aperture of over 217 kilometres.

Wychavon is a local government district in Worcestershire, England, with a population size of 132,500 according to the 2021 census. Its council is based in the town of Pershore, and the other towns in the district are Droitwich Spa and Evesham. The district extends from the southeast corner of Worcestershire north and west. It borders all the other districts of Worcestershire, as well as the counties of Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. The district was created under the Local Government Act 1972, on 1 April 1974. It was a merger of the boroughs of Droitwich and Evesham along with Evesham Rural District and most of Droitwich Rural District and most of Pershore Rural District. The district's name, which was invented in 1973, contains two elements. "Wych" recalls the Saxon Kingdom of Hwicca, and "Avon" is for the River Avon. Wychavon District Council was a joint 'Council of the Year 2007', along with High Peak Borough Council. It was also featured as the 'Best Council to work for by the Sunday Times. It increasingly shares management and staff with neighbouring Malvern Hills District Council.In December a Roman Road was unearthed by Severn Trent workmen digging up the road while completing sewerage work in the area. Aidan Smyth, archaeology advisor for Wychavon District Council, believed it to be a Roman ford, which could hold global significance.

Eckington Bridge is a stone bridge over the River Avon in Eckington in the English county of Worcestershire. It is a Grade II* listed building and has been scheduled as an ancient monument.The first bridge at the site was built in 1440, replacing an earlier ferry, but this fell into disrepair and was replaced by the current stone bridge in the 1720s. It consists of six arches built of red sandstone with the piers being protected by cutwaters.On the northern side of the bridge, slightly downstream, is a World War II pillbox. During 2011 and 2012 repairs were undertaken by Worcestershire County Council at a cost of £240,000.Next to the bridge is Eckington Wharf, which is no longer used commercially but provides public moorings, a canoe launching slipway and picnic area. The bridge is the subject of a poem by Arthur Quiller-Couch, and a picture from 1929 by Walter J. Phillips.In 2022 a collision between two cars on the bridge caused damage and a car entered the river. The driver of that car died.

Besford is a village and civil parish in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 147. The village is near Pershore, off the road from Upton-upon-Severn. A historic house, Besford Court (a grade II* listed building), is located in the village. Besford Court was once used as a school known as Besford Court Hospital [1]. The village is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a member of the Seabright family, who appears in a nightshirt.

Pershore is a market town and civil parish in the Wychavon district in Worcestershire, England, on the banks of the River Avon. At the 2011 census, the population was 7,125. The town is best known for Pershore Abbey. Pershore is situated 6 miles (10 km) west of Evesham and 6 miles (10 km) east of Upton-upon-Severn in the Vale of Evesham.

The Bow Brook is a substantial brook that flows for 28.8 miles (46.3 km) through Worcestershire, England. It is a lower tributary of the River Avon which it joins near Defford downstream of Eckington Bridge. Its principal tributaries include the Stoulton, Dean, and Seeley brooks.

Defford railway station was a station in Defford, Worcestershire, England. The station was opened in 1840 and closed in 1965.
