Ceira is a civil parish in Coimbra Municipality, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 3,701, in an area of 12.42 km2.

The Tower of Bera (Portuguese: Torre de Bera) is the remains of a medieval watchtower located in the civil parish of Almalaguês, in the municipality of Coimbra, Portuguese Coimbra.

The Rainha Santa Isabel Bridge (Portuguese: Ponte Rainha Santa Isabel) is a cable-stayed bridge with semi-fan system completed in 2003 and opened in 2004, crossing the Mondego River. Although it had an initial estimated value of €38.65 million, it severely surpassed that to €59.3 million.The construction of this bridge permitted a quicker access to the south of the city of Coimbra, namely to Pólo II section of the University of Coimbra. It carries N17 but connects to IC2. Construction was interrupted in October 2002 due to "alleged threat of collapse" During its construction it was known as Ponte Europa (Europe Bridge) which still holds as an alternate name, although not official.

Almalaguês (in old orthography, Almalaguez) is a civil parish in the municipality of Coimbra, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 3,111, in an area of 23.16 km².

Estádio Cidade de Coimbra is a stadium in Coimbra, Portugal. This stadium belongs to the Municipality of Coimbra and is mainly used by the Académica de Coimbra's football team. The stadium was rebuilt, expanded, and modernized to host some UEFA Euro 2004 matches. Far beyond the sports stadium itself, all the project, called Euro Stadium Project, included the possibility of organizing sports, culture, and commercial events, by the modernization of the entire Calhabé area in Coimbra. On 29 October 2003, Académica de Coimbra played at home to Sport Lisboa e Benfica in the first official match in the remodelled stadium.

Almedina is a former civil parish in the municipality of Coimbra, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Coimbra (Sé Nova, Santa Cruz, Almedina e São Bartolomeu). In 2011, its population was over 900 inhabitants, in an area west of University Hill in Coimbra, covering 1.01 km²

Santa Clara is a former civil parish in the municipality of Coimbra, Portugal. It was also known as São Francisco or São Francisco da Ponte after its foundation in 1855. The population in 2011 was 9,929, in an area of 9.77 km2. On 28 January 2013 it with Castelo Viegas to form Santa Clara e Castelo Viegas.
