Westover, Ontario

Flamborough is a district and former municipality in the city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. For most of its existence before amalgamation with Hamilton in 2001, Flamborough comprised the former townships of East Flamborough, West Flamborough, and Beverly, as well as the village of Waterdown. The largest suburban community is the former village of Waterdown containing perhaps one third of its thirty thousand or so inhabitants. Other Flamborough communities include Carlisle, Christie's Corners, Clappison's Corners, Copetown, Freelton, Greensville, Lynden, Kirkwall, Millgrove, Mountsberg, Orkney, Peters Corners, Rockton, Troy, Sheffield, Valens, Strabane and Westover.

The Rockton World's Fair is an annual Thanksgiving weekend tradition in the community of Rockton, located in Hamilton, Ontario. It originated as the Beverly Agricultural Society Fair in 1852, and has been known as the World's Fair in Rockton or the Rockton World's Fair since 1878. Other nearby communities sending exhibits & speakers to the event include: Puslinch, Greensville, Carlisle, Freelton, Lynden, Rockton, Clappison's Corners, Millgrove, Christie's Corners, Sheffield, Copetown, Kirkwall, Valens, Mountsberg, Westover and Troy. No fair was held in 1917–18, 1942–44 nor 2020.

Valens is a community in Ontario in the city of Hamilton. It is the location of the Valens Conservation Area, which is built around the Valens Reservoir. It is located about 35 km from downtown Hamilton. It can be reached by travelling north on highway 6 and then west on highway 97. Valens Lake is a water reservoir managed by the Hamilton Conservation Authority and offers facilities for camping, hiking, swimming, boating and fishing. It used to be stocked with fish but now has a sustained natural fish population that has among others, carp, catfish, small and largemouth bass, pike, perch, an assorted varieties of pan fish, and the odd turtles. A dam controls water flow from the basin. The water level may fluctuate throughout the year.

Flamboro Speedway is a 1/3-mile semi-banked asphalt short track motor racing oval, located twenty minutes northwest of Hamilton, in the rural community of Millgrove, Ontario, Canada. The track was established in 1962.

The Westfield Heritage Village is a heritage centre located just west of Rockton, Ontario, Canada. The village contains over 30 historic buildings on a 3.4-square-kilometre (840-acre) site. It is operated by the Hamilton Conservation Authority.

Flamboro Downs is a half-mile harness horse racing track in Flamborough, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It is also home to Flamboro Slots, which has a total of 808 slot machines.The racetrack was founded in 1971 by Charles Juravinski and acquired in 2003 by Magna Entertainment. In 2005, it was acquired by the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation.

Beverley Township was a township established in 1792 in Home District in the then Upper Canada, today Ontario, Canada. It was named for the town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, by John Graves Simcoe.The township became part of Halton County when that county was created as part of Gore District in 1816. The township was also known as Beverly Township when it was transferred to Wentworth County in 1853. When the Regional Municipality of Hamilton–Wentworth was created in 1974, most of Beverley Township was absorbed by Flamborough, Ontario. The area is now part of the city of Hamilton.

Greensville is a community in Flamborough, Hamilton in the Canadian province of Ontario. Hamilton Conservation Authority attractions Webster's Falls and Tew's Falls are in Greensville. Well-known Canadian philanthropist and Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame member, Charles Juravinski and his wife Margaret are Greensville residents. Jamaican Canadian billionaire Michael Lee-Chin was also at one time a Greensville Resident.

Rockton Aerodrome (TC LID: CPT3) is located in Flamborough, Ontario 1.5 nautical miles (2.8 km; 1.7 mi) west of Rockton, Ontario, Canada.

Copetown is a rural neighbourhood of the city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, located northeast of Brantford. William Cope, a United Empire Loyalist from the U.S. state of New York settled here in 1794. The community was renamed after his son Conradt in 1851. The current population of this community is approximately 130 residents. This community is located within the 905 area code for telephones and the postal forward sortation area in this region is L0R. Dundas Hill is located nearby, signifying its closeness to Dundas. The community is located 40 miles (64 km) away from Toronto. Copetown is a short eastbound drive away from Flamboro Downs and is located relatively close to downtown Dundas.

Ancaster—Dundas—Flamborough—Westdale was a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 2004 until the electoral boundaries were redrawn for the 2015 election. The district included the western half of the amalgamated city of Hamilton but did not include any of the city centre. It did, however, include McMaster University, Redeemer University College and many of the neighbourhoods surrounding it.

Ancaster—Dundas—Flamborough—Westdale was a provincial electoral district in southwestern Ontario, Canada. It was created for the 2007 provincial election. 82.9% of the riding came from Ancaster—Dundas—Flamborough—Aldershot while 17.1% came from Hamilton West. The riding included all of Hamilton west of a line running along Glancaster Road then to Garner Road then to a Hydroelectric Transmission Line then to Highway 403 to Hamilton Harbour. In 2018, the district was dissolved into Hamilton West—Ancaster—Dundas and Flamborough—Glanbrook.
