The Kirchliche Hochschule Berlin (Church University Berlin) was a theological university in Berlin, Germany, from 1945 to 1992, a facility of the Protestant Church in Berlin, Brandenburg and Silesian Upper Lusatia.

Berlin-Zehlendorf (in German Bahnhof Berlin-Zehlendorf) is a railway station in southwestern Zehlendorf (Berlin) within the city of Berlin, Germany. It is served by the Berlin S-Bahn line S1 and is one of the stops of the X10, 285, 112, N84, N10, 101, 115, and 623 busses.

Berlin Sundgauer Straße (in German Bahnhof Berlin Sundgauer Straße) is a railway station in the Zehlendorf locality of Berlin, Germany, served by the Berlin S-Bahn and a local bus line. The station opened on July 1, 1934, in the course of electrifying the Wannseebahn suburban railway line, originally laid in 1891. The entrance building is a protected landmark. Both the station and the adjacent street are named after the Sundgau region in France.

The AG Märkische Kleinbahn or MKB in Berlin is a German railway museum and heritage railway, founded in 1981, with legal status as a society since 1982. It has set itself the task of preserving historical railway vehicles and other items of railway technology (e.g. signalling equipment, communication and safety equipment) in an operational state or for museum display and to make them accessible to the public. Their centre of operations is the locomotive shed at Schönow.

The Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics is a research institute for molecular genetics based in Berlin, Germany. It is part of the Max Planck Institute network of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science.

The McNair Barracks was a US Army installation in Lichterfelde, a locality in southwest Berlin, Germany. The barracks were named after Lieutenant General Lesley J. McNair, an American Army officer who served in World War I and World War II and was killed in an infamous friendly fire incident on 25 July 1944 in the Battle of Normandy. The barracks housed the Infantry and Artillery units of the U.S. Army Berlin Brigade.

Teltow [German pronunciation: ['tɛltoː] (listen)] is a town in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district, in Brandenburg, Germany.

Oskar-Helene-Heim is an U-Bahn station in Berlin, located in the southwestern Dahlem district on the line. The station was inaugurated on 22 December 1929 with the last surface section of the line to Krumme Lanke station. It was named after a nearby orthopedic hospital, a foundation of Oskar Pintsch (1844–1912), son of industrialist Julius Pintsch, and his wife Helene (1857–1923). The clinic, opened in 1914, became a pioneering institution caring for people with physical disabilities and invalids of World War I. Numerous up-to-date neurosurgery techniques were developed here, as well as new methods of treating rickets with UV irradiation, based on the studies of practising doctor Kurt Huldschinsky. The facility closed in 2000. Today Oskar-Helene-Heim is the closest U-Bahn station to the United States Consulate, part of the former US Army headquarters in West Berlin, which is located nearby on Clayallee The Allied Museum, documenting the local history of the Western Allies in the Cold War era, is nearby.

Düppel (after Dybbøl, South Jutland, Denmark) is the name of a neighbourhood as well as of an adjacent forest in the borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf in southwestern Berlin, Germany. The neighbourhood itself is a part of the Zehlendorf locality.

Onkel Toms Hütte (English: Uncle Tom's Cabin) is a Berlin U-Bahn station located in the Zehlendorf district. Since 12 December 2004 it is served by the line.

AFN Berlin was a US military broadcast station located at Podbielskiallee 23 in Berlin-Dahlem. It started broadcasting at noon on August 4, 1945, with the Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin. The TV studio was located on Saargemünder Strasse, across from the Berlin Brigade Headquarters compound. During the Berlin Blockade AFN Berlin started broadcasting around the clock. After the building of the Berlin Wall AFN Berlin radio then stayed on the air 24 hours until July 1994. TV programming was normally from 15:00 to 01:00 weekdays and 12:00 to 01:00 on weekends during the mid 1970s. AFN Berlin had three stations: a medium-wave AM station at 1107 kHz an FM station at 87.85 MHz (adjusted to 87.9 MHz at a later stage, called 88FM) a TV station on UHF channel E29 (US channel 25) broadcasting in NTSC (thus requiring a multistandard set for German viewers) with a low-power transmitter limited to southwestern BerlinUntil November 23, 1978, the AM frequency was 935 kHz. Due to the agreements in the Geneva Frequency Plan the frequency was changed to 1107 kHz. On July 15, 1994, AFN Berlin broadcast a 3-hour special broadcast on both radio frequencies, which was transmitted live into 54 countries. Afterwards, seconds before 14:00, AFN Berlin ceased transmitting after playing a rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" performed by William Rivelli.
