Heath High Level railway station is one of two railway stations serving Heath, Cardiff, Wales. The station is located on the Rhymney Line. Passenger services are provided by Transport for Wales as part of the Valley Lines network. It was opened by the Rhymney Railway in 1915. The Low Level station is located on the Coryton Line.

Heath Low Level railway station is one of two railway stations serving Heath, Cardiff, Wales. The station is located on the Coryton Line 2.5 miles (4.0 km) north of Cardiff Central. Heath Low Level was opened by the Cardiff Railway in 1911. When it was opened, it was called Heath Halt station. The station has one platform with a wheelchair accessible entrance from a minor residential road. On the platform is a brick built waiting shelter and open aired benches. The station is unmanned. Passenger services are provided by Transport for Wales as part of the Valley Lines network.

Roath Park (Welsh: Parc y Rhath) Cardiff, Wales, is one of Cardiff's most popular parks, owned by Cardiff County Council and managed by the Parks Section. It retains a classic Victorian atmosphere and has many facilities. The park has recently been awarded the prestigious Green Flag award to recognise its high quality and its importance to Cardiff. Roath Park has widely diverse environments across the park. The park was built on 130 acres (0.53 km2) of reformed bogland, known then as a malarial bog, and includes a 30-acre (12 ha) lake 1.3 miles (2.1 km) around, formed by the damming of the Nant Fawr stream. It is a popular facility for fishing and rowing. There are four islands within a conservation area, home to many water birds. The main park includes a large playground, floral displays, the glasshouse conservatory and recreational areas. Roath park occupies a long strip of land stretching from Cyncoed in the north to Roath towards the southeast. The park is divided into several parts along the Roath Brook (or Nant Fawr/Nant y Lleuchi/Nant y Derwen Deg in Welsh). From north to south, these divisions are: Wild Gardens, Roath Park Lake, Botanical Gardens, Rose Gardens, Pleasure Gardens, Roath Park Recreation Ground, Roath Brook Gardens, Roath Mill Gardens, Waterloo Gardens and the Sandies Open Space. Two volunteer ‘Friends’ groups work with Cardiff Council to cover the full extent of the historic Roath Park. The Friends of Roath Park serve the northern section of the park as far as Penylan Hill. The south-eastern section of the park is served by the Friends of Penylan’s Gardens.

Llanishen Reservoir (Welsh: Cronfa Ddŵr Llanisien) is a Victorian reservoir in north Cardiff, Wales. The reservoir is one of the reservoirs constructed as part of the Taff Fawr scheme for supplying water to Cardiff and was completed in 1886. It forms part of the Nant Fawr Corridor from the top of Roath Park to the countryside beyond Cyncoed. The reservoir was used for water supply until the mid-1970s when it became redundant. It was then used for leisure activities and for 'topping up' the adjacent Lisvane Reservoir until it was drained completely. After buying Hyder plc, its new owner Western Power Distribution (WPD), proposed to redevelop the reservoir site, but after a series of objections from national governing bodies, the County Council, local residents and both local and national politicians this was blocked. On 30 August 2013 WPD sold both Llanishen and Lisvane reservoirs to CELSA Group.In January 2016, Welsh Water acquired both Llanishen and Lisvane reservoirs from CELSA Group on a 999-year lease, which allows Welsh Water to use both reservoirs for water supply and recreational purposes while also allowing CELSA UK to continue to take its water supply from the Lisvane reservoir.

Cyncoed Methodist Church is a listed place of worship in the suburb of Cyncoed in Cardiff, Wales. Organisationally, it is in the East cluster of the Cardiff Methodist Circuit.The church was built in 1966 and was designed by Alex Gordon, who was to become a prominent architect in south Wales. The building is in the International Modern style that was pioneered by Mies van der Rohe, and is a rectilinear design in glass and buff-coloured brick. The foundation stone was laid on 20 November 1965, and the church was dedicated the following September. A large extension was built to the rear of the church in 1992. The church gained listed status in 2001, with the listing giving as a reason: As an individually accomplished design, Cyncoed Methodist Church helps to define the architectural standard for post-war religious buildings in Wales.

Cyncoed ( kin-KOYD); is a community in the northeast of Cardiff, the capital of Wales. With many properties in the area fetching over £1 million, Cyncoed is considered to have some of the highest property prices in the country. Cyncoed overlooks the city centre of Cardiff, near Roath Park, with views of the surrounding mountains.

Llanishen Methodist Church, also known as Century Chapel, is a listed place of worship in Llanishen, a suburb of Cardiff in Wales.

The National Indoor Athletics Centre is an indoor track and field athletics sports venue in the Cyncoed area of Cardiff, capital of Wales. It is sited on the Cardiff Metropolitan University Campus and is one of the main facilities used by Welsh Athletics, which organises the Cardiff branch of the Athletics Development Centre at the National Indoor Athletics Centre. The track facilities include: 200m, 4 lane banked track 60m, 8 lane straight track 120m, 6 lane straight track which finishes outside the main arenaA centre of sporting excellence opened at the site in January 2011 by First Minister Carwyn Jones and Wales football manager Gary Speed. The Sport and Exercise Medicine Centre provides elite facilities for students, athletes and the wider public. There are sports medicine and physiotherapy professionals located on-site with services available not only to performance level athletes, but also the general public. The sports medicine practitioners can work with athletes and players to identify potential injury risk and therefore work to prevent injuries from occurring. The centre also boasts renowned sports psychologists, offering a range of individual or group sessions to help athletes enhance performance.

The Cardiff University School of Medicine (Welsh: Ysgol Feddygaeth Prifysgol Caerdydd) is the medical school of Cardiff University and is located in Cardiff, Wales, UK. Founded in 1893 as part of the University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire, it is the older of the two medical schools in Wales. It is one of the largest medical schools in the United Kingdom, employing nearly 500 academic and 300 support staff; and with over 1000 undergraduate and 1100 postgraduate students enrolled on medical and scientific courses. The school has an annual financial turnover of over £50 million, of which nearly half comes from competitive external research funding. The school is based at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.

The Wales International Academy of Voice (Welsh: Academi Llais Ryngwladol Cymru) was established by its founder, the Welsh tenor Dennis O'Neill CBE, to provide advanced voice, music and drama coaching to young professional opera singers from all over the world in the early stages of their careers. It was opened in 2007 as the Cardiff International Academy of Voice and was funded by Cardiff University. Following Cardiff University's withdrawal of funding in 2010, the University of Wales Trinity Saint David took over the partnership in June 2011 under the new name of the Wales International Academy of Voice.

Cardiff Met WFC is a women's football club based in Cardiff, Wales. It is the student team of Cardiff Metropolitan University. The club is one of the most successful Women's Welsh Premier League team after winning the title five times (2011–12, 2014–15, 2015–16, 2017–18 and 2018–19) and qualifying multiple times for the UEFA Women's Champions League. The team was named UWIC Ladies until they changed their team name to Cardiff Met. Ladies AFC after the 2011–12 season. They then renamed from Ladies to Womens ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Cardiff Metropolitan University Football Club (Welsh: Clwb Pêl-droed Prifysgol Met Caerdydd), commonly known as Cardiff Met F.C., are a Welsh football club, of the Athletic Union of Cardiff Metropolitan University, based in Cyncoed, Cardiff that plays in the Cymru Premier. The club badge features the bowman with the words 'I lwyddo, rhaid chwarae' which is translated as 'To succeed, [one] must play'.
