Beitou District

Huanggang Creek（Chinese：磺港溪） is located in northern Taiwan, belonging to the Danshui River system and serving as a tributary of the Keelung River. With a length of approximately 10 kilometers and a watershed area of about 11.6 square kilometers, it is situated in the Beitou District of Taipei City. Its source is located around the western peak and southern peak of Mt. Datun. After the convergence of various tributaries, the creek flows through the prominent area of Beitou and then southward to join the Keelung River at the Zhongbaixian confluence. One of the tributaries of Huanggang Creek, the Beitou Creek, flows through the geothermal valley, making it a well-known scenic spot.

The Taipei Metro Qilian station (formerly transliterated as Chili An Station until 2003) is located in the Beitou District of Taipei, Taiwan. It is a station on the Tamsui Line (Red Line). In the past, the station belonged to the now-defunct TRA Tamsui Line.

National Yang-Ming University (NYMU; Chinese: 國立陽明大學) was a research university located in Shipai, Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was known for research in the fields of Medicine, Life Sciences and Biotechnology. In the 2010 QS Asian Universities Rankings, Yang Ming University was placed 4th among universities in Taiwan and 2nd in the field of Life Science & Biomedicine. NYMU was one of the seven national research universities.Yang-Ming was named after the Chinese philosopher Wang Yangming. It was merged with National Chiao Tung University into the newly formed National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University on 1 February 2021.

The Beitou Presbyterian Church (traditional Chinese: 長老教會北投教堂; simplified Chinese: 长老教会北投教堂; pinyin: Zhǎnglǎo Jiàohuì Běitóu Jiàotáng) is a presbyterian church in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The National Research Institute of Chinese Medicine (NRICM; Chinese: 國家中醫藥研究所 (previously: 國立中國醫藥研究所); pinyin: Guójiā Zhōng Yīyào Yánjiū Suǒ (previously: Guólì Zhōngguó Yīyào Yánjiū Suǒ); previously: National Institute of Chinese Medicine) is a research center responsible for research, experimental and development issues of Chinese medicine. It is located in the Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan and run under the guidance of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China. It is Taiwan's largest Chinese herbal medicine research center.

Taipei Veterans General Hospital (Chinese: 台北榮民總醫院; pinyin: Táiběi Róngmín Zǒngyī Yuàn) is a national first-class medical center and a teaching hospital that provides tertiary patient care, undergraduate medical education programs and residency programs in Taiwan. It was founded in 1958 and administered by the Veterans Affairs Council. It is in Beitou District, Taipei and majorly serves patients in northern Taipei and New Taipei. Three branches, Taoyuan Veterans Hospital, Yuanshan Veterans Hospital, and Suao Veterans Hospital, were established.
