Huanggang Creek

Beitou District is the northernmost of the twelve districts of Taipei City, Taiwan. The historical spelling of the district is Peitou. The name originates from the Ketagalan word Kipatauw, meaning witch. Beitou is the most mountainous and highest of Taipei's districts, encompassing a meadow with rivers running through the valley which have abundant steam rising from them; the result of geothermal warming. The valley is often surrounded by mist shrouding the trees and grass. Beitou is famous for its hot springs. In March 2012, it was named one of the Top 10 Small Tourist Towns by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan.

It is located in the Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan and run under the guidance of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China. It is Taiwan's largest Chinese herbal medicine research center.

National Yang-Ming University (NYMU; Chinese: 國立陽明大學) was a research university located in Shipai, Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was known for research in the fields of Medicine, Life Sciences and Biotechnology. In the 2010 QS Asian Universities Rankings, Yang Ming University was placed 4th among universities in Taiwan and 2nd in the field of Life Science & Biomedicine. NYMU was one of the seven national research universities.Yang-Ming was named after the Chinese philosopher Wang Yangming. It was merged with National Chiao Tung University into the newly formed National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University on 1 February 2021.

The Lady Zhou's Memorial Gate (traditional Chinese: 周氏節孝坊; simplified Chinese: 周氏节孝坊; pinyin: Zhōushì Jié Xiàofang) is a paifang in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan.

Kinpo Group Headquarters (Chinese: 金仁寶總部大樓; pinyin: Jīnrénbǎo zǒngbù dàlóu), is an under-construction, 266 m (873 ft), 55-storey skyscraper office building located in Beitou-Shilin Technology Park, Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. Designed by the famous Taiwanese architect Chu-Yuan Lee, the ground breaking ceremony of the building was held on 8 February 2023. The building will become the fifth tallest building in Taipei and the seventh tallest in Taiwan upon its estimated completion in Q4 of 2026. The building will serve as the new headquarters for New Kinpo Group and is expected to create over 7,000 job openings, bringing roughly NT$22.3 billion in terms of financial benefits for the Taipei City Government.
