Loopealse (Estonian for "Alvar", literally "Above Alvar") is a subdistrict (Estonian: asum) in the district of Lasnamäe, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 2,388 (As of 1 January 2014).

Tallinn Lasnamae Russian School (Estonian: Tallinna Lasnamäe Vene Gümnaasium) is a public school in Tallinn, Estonia established in 1981, it was first named school No 48 and opened its doors to 889 students. School's first director was Irina Ivanovna Opekina. In 2011 - 2013 the school participated in international cultural project "Comenius" (Speaking…..of culture – Kultuuridest rääkimine). In 2013 the school passed the government check, the results were good.

The Pirita (Estonian: Pirita jõgi) is a 105 km (65 mi) long river in northern Estonia that drains into Tallinn Bay (part of the Gulf of Finland) in Pirita, Tallinn. The basin area of the Pirita is 799 km2.For the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow, the estuary to the Gulf of Finland at Tallinn Bay hosted the sailing events.As part of the Tallinn water supply system, the Pirita is impounded into the Paunküla and Vaskjala Reservoirs. The reservoir in Vaskjala is connected over a canal to the Lake Ülemiste in Tallinn, where the Ülemiste Water Treatment Plant is situated. Additional water is directed to Pirita from the Jägala, Soodla and Pärnu rivers through a canal network that joins Pirita in Veskitaguse.

The Pirita Velodrome (Estonian: Pirita Velodroom) is a velodrome and football stadium in the Pirita district of Tallinn, Estonia. It has 1602 seats.

Lasnamäe Indoor Arena is a multipurpose indoor arena at Lasnamäe, Tallinn, Estonia. It was built in 2003 and is one of the biggest indoor arenas in Estonia.It hosts annually the athletics event Tallinn Indoor Meeting.

Pirita Convent (Estonian: Pirita klooster) was a monastery for both monks and nuns dedicated to St. Brigitta, located in the district of Pirita in Tallinn, Estonia. It functioned from 1407 to 1575. It was the largest convent in Livonia, and one of the largest in Northern Europe.

The subdistrict has a population of 960 (As of 1 January 2014). Pirita was selected as the venue of the sailing events for the 1980 summer Olympics. During the preparations for the Olympics, sports buildings were built in Tallinn including the Pirita Yachting Centre and the Hotel Olümpia. Pirita is one of the eight administrative districts (Estonian: linnaosa) of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Pirita occupies a relatively big area, but compared to other districts of Tallinn its population of 17,592 (as of 1 November 2014) is relatively small. It mostly consists of private houses, instead of the large blocks of flats typical of some other districts of Tallinn, such as Lasnamäe and Mustamäe. Large parts of the district consist of newly built, modern buildings and houses. Pirita Beach is located in Pirita. Pirita is one of the most prestigious and wealthiest districts of Tallinn, partly thanks to natural benefits such as its beach and yachting harbour. Pirita beach is the largest in Tallinn, and in the summer can attract up to 30,000 visitors a day.
