Yangmiao (simplified Chinese: 杨庙; traditional Chinese: 楊廟; pinyin: Yángmiào) is a town in Hanjiang District, Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China. As of 2020, it administers one residential neighborhood (Yangmiao) and the following eight villages: Yangmiao Village Huaping Village (花瓶村) Shuangmiao Village (双庙村) Youyi Village (友谊村) Xinyang Village (新杨村) Yanshanhe Village (沿山河村) Cangjie Village (仓颉村) Zhaozhuang Village (赵庄村)

Yangzhou Museum (simplified Chinese: 扬州博物馆; traditional Chinese: 揚州博物館; pinyin: Yángzhōu Bówùguǎn) is the biggest museum in Yangzhou, an ancient city in Jiangsu Province of China. It is located in front of the Mingyue Lake ("Bright Moon Lake") on Yangzhou' West Wenchang Road, about 4 km west of downtown Yangzhou and Slender West Lake. Yangzhou Museum is housed in a modern building, covering an area of 50,000 m2 (540,000 sq ft). It shares its lobby with the adjacent China Block Printing Museum; together the two museums are commonly known as the Yangzhou Double Museum (扬州双博馆).

The Yangzhou Jianzhen International Half Marathon (Chinese: 扬州鉴真国际半程马拉松赛) is an annual road running competition over the half marathon distance 21.0975 kilometres (13.1094 mi) which takes place in April in Yangzhou, People's Republic of China. The event is named in honour of Jianzhen, a Chinese monk from the city who propagated Buddhism in Japan in the 8th century. The event was first held in 2006 and grew exponentially in its first six years: it gained IAAF Silver Label Road Race status in 2010 and began to attract elite and amateur runners alike. Almost 3000 runners finished the half marathon in 2011, while the introduction of a 10K fun run that year saw 25,000 runners take part in the day's event. The race is predominantly Chinese, although 230 foreign athletes were present in 2011. East African athletes typically occupy the higher places in the elite races.The very flat, point-to-point course is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The city-centre course begins and ends at the Stadium of Yangzhou Sport Center and passes many of the city's landmarks, including the Wenchang Pavilion, Daming Temple and the Yangzhou Museum.The men's course record of 59:52 minutes (set in 2015 by Mosinet Geremew) is the fastest ever recorded in China. The women's record holder is Peres Jepchirchir, with her winning time of 1:07:21 from 2016.

Xinsheng Subdistrict (Chinese: 新盛街道; pinyin: Xīnshèng Jiēdào) is a subdistrict in Hanjiang District, Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China. As of 2020, it administers the following three residential neighborhoods and six villages: Lüyangxinyuan (绿扬新苑) Xinsheng Community Xinyue Community (新悦社区) Yinhu Village (殷湖村) Shuangdun Village (双墩村) Guoyuan Village (果园村) Daliu Village (大刘村) Yinxiang Village (殷巷村) Qilidian Village (七里甸村)

Xihu (Chinese: 西湖; pinyin: Xīhú) is a town in Hanjiang District, Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China. As of 2020, it administers the following four residential communities and seven villages. Jiangwang Subdistrict (simplified Chinese: 蒋王街道; traditional Chinese: 蔣王街道; pinyin: Jiǎngwáng Jiēdào) is a subdistrict located in the Hanjiang District of Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China. The subdistrict covers a total area of 13.2 square kilometers, has a population of 33,000 people, and is divided into five residential communities and four villages:

Hanshang Subdistrict is a subdistrict in Hanjiang District, Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China. It is the most urbanized subdistrict in Hanjiang District. Transportation in Hanshang Subdistrict is convenient, with Yangzhou West Bus Station being located there. Hanshang Subdistrict is subdivided into Fengzhuang Community, Lanzhuang Community, Wuli Community, Jiaqiao Community and Wenchang Community.

Hanjiang District is one of the three districts of Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, in eastern China. It is one of the two districts (along with Guangling District) that divide the prefecture's urbanized core. It includes roughly the western half of Yangzhou's central city and adjacent suburbs. The Yangtze River and the Grand Canal of China serve as the district's principal southern and eastern borders. In the past, the northern part of Yangzhou's main urban area constituted the separate Weiyang District but, in late 2011, Weiyang District was abolished and merged into Hanjiang.

Daming Temple (Chinese: 大明寺; pinyin: Dàmíng Sì) is a temple located at the middle peak of Shugang Mountain (蜀冈山), Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, China. This temple is known for a famous monk, Jianzhen, who studied the sutras and initiated people into monkhood here in 742 AD before he left for Japan.

Weiyang District (simplified Chinese: 维扬区; traditional Chinese: 維揚區; pinyin: Wéiyáng Qū) was a district of the city of Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, People's Republic of China. In November 2011, it was merged into Hanjiang District.The district included the northern part of Yangzhou's main urban area, and adjacent suburbs.

Yangzhou, postal romanization Yangchow, is a prefecture-level city in central Jiangsu Province, East China. Sitting on the north bank of the Yangtze, it borders the provincial capital Nanjing to the southwest, Huai'an to the north, Yancheng to the northeast, Taizhou to the east, and Zhenjiang across the river to the south. Its population was 4,559,797 at the 2020 census and its urban area is home to 2,635,435 inhabitants, including three urban districts, currently in the agglomeration. Historically, Yangzhou was one of the wealthiest cities in China, known at various periods for its great merchant families, poets, artists, and scholars. Its name (lit. "Rising Prefecture") refers to its former position as the capital of the ancient Yangzhou prefecture in imperial China. Yangzhou was one of the first cities to benefit from one of the earliest World Bank loans in China, used to construct Yangzhou thermal power station in 1994.

Yechun Garden (冶春茶社) is a distinctive garden in Yangzhou, China. Yechun in Chinese means "girls and boys go on some outings in spring".
