The E-DA Theme Park (traditional Chinese: 義大遊樂世界; simplified Chinese: 义大游乐世界; pinyin: Yìdà Yóulè Shìjiè) is a theme park with Greek styling located in Dashu District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It claims to be south Taiwan's largest theme park.

Pingtung Plain (Chinese: 屏東平原; pinyin: Píngdōng Píngyuán) is a plain area including parts of Pingtung County and Kaohsiung City in Taiwan. It includes the alluvial fan of Kaoping River, which forms the largest drainage area of rivers in Taiwan, and also passed by other shorter rivers such as Tungkang River, Linbian River and Shihwen River (士文溪). The plain faces the Taiwan Strait on the southwest, lies to the east of Kaohsiung City, and at the west of Central Mountain Range.

The Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum (Chinese: 佛光山佛陀紀念館; pinyin: Fóguāngshān Fótuó jìniànguǎn), formerly known as the Buddha Memorial Center, is a Mahāyāna Buddhist cultural, religious, and educational museum located in Dashu District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The museum is affiliated with Fo Guang Shan, one of Taiwan's largest Buddhist organizations. The museum is located next to the Fo Guang Shan Monastery, the headquarters of the order. The museum houses one of the tooth relics of Sakyamuni Buddha, the founder of the Buddhist faith. The museum was accepted as the youngest member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) in 2014.Since 2015, the museum has been certified ISO 50001 2011 by the Quality management system.

Fo Guang Shan Monastery (Chinese: 佛光山寺; pinyin: Fó Guāng Shān Sì; lit. Buddha's Light Mountain Monastery) is a Chinese Mahāyāna Buddhist monastery in Dashu District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is the headquarters of the Fo Guang Shan international organization and the largest Buddhist monastery in Taiwan.

Dashu District (Chinese: 大樹區; pinyin: Dàshù Qū; Wade–Giles: Ta4-shu4 Ch'ü1; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Toā-chhiū-khu) is a suburban district located in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan near the Kaoping River. Fo Guang Shan is one of largest tourist attractions in Dashu District. The Ligang Bridge (Chinese: 里港大橋; pinyin: Lǐgǎng Dàqiáo; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Lí-káng Tōa-kiô) is a cable-stayed bridge in Taiwan. It carries Freeway 3 (Second Southern Freeway) across the Gaoping River from Dashu District, Kaohsiung in the northwest and entering Jiuru Township, Pingtung County (although it is named for nearby Ligang). It measures 2,617 meters (8,586 feet) long. The tower is 183.5 m (602 ft) tall (roughly the height of a 65-story building). The side span is 180 m (590 ft) long, while the main span is 330 m (1,080 ft) long.

Jiuqutang (Chinese: 九曲堂車站; Hanyu Pinyin: Jiǔqūtáng Chēzhàn; Tongyong Pinyin: Jiǒucyutáng Chejhàn), formerly spelled Jioucyutang, is a railway station on the Taiwan Railways Administration Pingtung line located in Dashu District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
