The province of Massa-Carrara (Italian: provincia di Massa-Carrara) is a province in the Tuscany region of Italy. It is named after the provincial capital Massa, and Carrara, the other main town in the province.

Tresana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Massa and Carrara in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) northwest of Florence and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Massa. Tresana borders the following municipalities: Bolano, Calice al Cornoviglio, Licciana Nardi, Mulazzo, Podenzana, and Villafranca in Lunigiana. Sights include the remains of the Malaspina Castle at Giovagallo.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,947 and an area of 17.3 square kilometres (6.7 sq mi).Podenzana borders the following municipalities: Aulla, Bolano, Calice al Cornoviglio, Follo, Licciana Nardi, Tresana.

Comano is a town and comune in the province of Massa and Carrara, Tuscany, Italy, of some 700 inhabitants. In the nearby is the pieve of Santa Maria Assunta. It was rebuilt in 1079 in Romanesque style; later it was modified in Renaissance and Baroque times. It has also a castle.

Santo Stefano di Magra (Ligurian: San Steva, Lunigiano Emilian: Sa' Steu) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of La Spezia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Genoa and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) northeast of La Spezia. It is located near the confluence of torrent Vara into the Magra river. It is part of the Montemarcello-Magra Natural Regional Park. It has an entrance and exit to the toll-paying "Autostrada" The municipality of Santo Stefano di Magra contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ponzano Magra, Ponzano Belaso, and Ponzano Superiore. Santo Stefano di Magra borders the following municipalities: Aulla, Bolano, Sarzana, Vezzano Ligure.
