Bartlett station

Bartlett is a village located in Cook, DuPage and Kane counties, Illinois. A small parcel on the western border is in Kane County. The population was 41,105 at the 2020 census.

Poplar Creek Public Library District is a public library in Illinois, United States which serves residents of Streamwood, Hanover Park, Elgin, Schaumburg, and Bartlett. Created by a 1966 referendum in Streamwood, it currently has one main Streamwood facility and one Hanover Park branch. It serves 66,000 residents, though many of its towns are served only in-part by Poplar Creek, with other residents being patrons of the Schaumburg Township District Library, Gail Borden Public Library District, or the Bartlett Public Library District. Poplar Creek Library became a United States Federal and State document depository in 1980. Its collection contains approximately 160,000 books 19,000 other items. It is a member of the DuPage Library System. In 2009, an expansion and renovation of the facility was designed by Lonn Frye and AJ Rosales of Frye Gillan Molinaro Architects. This expanded facility has been the recipient of a 2009 GE Edison Award of Merit, a 2010 AIA Chicago Design Excellence Award for Interior Architecture, and it was also awarded the title of #1 New Landmark Library in May 2011 by Library Journal Magazine.The Sonya Crawshaw Branch Library in Hanover Park was completely renovated and expanded in 2013. Itasca, IL based Williams Architects was the architect for the project.

Streamwood is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 39,577. It is a northwest suburb of Chicago, and is a part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Streamwood is one of the three communities that make up the so-called "Tri Village" area, along with Bartlett and Hanover Park. Streamwood was first incorporated as a village on February 9, 1957.

Still, the center has attracted many prominent retailers and restaurants. Ontarioville is a small neighborhood within the village of Hanover Park, Illinois. It lies just south of U.S. Route 20 (Lake Street), at the intersection of County Farm Road and Ontarioville Road. The Hanover Park Metra station is located along the Milwaukee District/West Line tracks that immediately parallel Ontarioville Road.

Hanover Park is a station on Metra's Milwaukee District West Line in Hanover Park, Illinois. The station is 28.4 miles (45.7 km) away from Chicago Union Station, the eastern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Hanover Park is in zone F. As of 2018, Hanover Park is the 29th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 1,238 weekday boardings.As of December 12, 2022, Hanover Park is served by 42 trains (20 inbound, 22 outbound) on weekdays, by all 24 trains (12 in each direction) on Saturdays, and by all 18 trains (nine in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. Parking is available on both sides of the tracks. The largest parking area is on West Lake Street, and the second largest is on Ontarioville Road, both of which are west of County Farm Road. A third smaller parking lot exists on the southeast corner of the County Farm Road bridge on Liberty Street via Barrington Road.

Streamwood High School, or SHS, is a public four-year high school located in Streamwood, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, in the United States. It is part of Elgin Area School District U46, which also includes Bartlett High School, Larkin High School, South Elgin High School, and Elgin High School. It is also the home of the World Languages and International Studies (WLIS) Academy.

Hanover Township is one of 29 townships in Cook County, Illinois, USA and is located at the end of the county's panhandle. As of the 2010 census, its population was 99,538. Hanover Township was established on April 2, 1850. The first reported population of the Township was 672. The Township gets its name from the "Kingdom of Hanover in Western Germany," which is where a majority of the Township's first residents originated from.The primary governmental concerns were collecting taxes, control and collection of stray animals and maintenance of the roads. "Poor relief" was minimal in the early days of the Township and the Clerk was in control of organizing the machinery for elections, similar to the job they do today.Today, Hanover Township has a population of over 100,000 residents. Most of Streamwood lies within the boundaries of the Township, along with portions of Bartlett, Elgin, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg and unincorporated Cook County. Township offices are set throughout the Township with the Township Town Hall at 250 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett, the Senior Center at 240 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett, the Astor Avenue Community Center at 7431 Astor Avenue in Hanover Park, the Community Resource Center at 1535 Burgundy Place in Streamwood and the Izaak Walton Center at 899 Jay Street in Elgin.

Bartlett High School is a public four-year high school located in Bartlett, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Elgin Area School District U46, which also includes Elgin High School, Larkin High School, South Elgin High School, and Streamwood High School. The school was opened in August 1997 as the fourth high school in the Elgin Area School District U46.
