Moruzzo (Friulian: Murus) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,240 and an area of 17.9 square kilometres (6.9 sq mi).The municipality of Moruzzo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Alnicco, Brazzacco, Telezae, Modotto, and Santa Margherita del Gruagno. Moruzzo borders the following municipalities: Colloredo di Monte Albano, Fagagna, Martignacco, Pagnacco. It is also known as the "Beverly Hills" of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,880 and an area of 11.6 square kilometres (4.5 sq mi).The municipality of Cassacco contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Conoglano, Martinazzo, Raspano, and Montegnacco. The Parco Botanico Friulano "Cormor", also known as the Parco del Cormor or Parco Botanico del Cormôr, is a municipal park and botanical garden located in Udine, Friuli, Italy. The park was created 1990–93 by architect Roberto Pirzio Biroli, for which he won the International Piranesi Award, on a neglected site northwest of the town center. It covers 30 hectares between the Cormôr torrent and the Autostrada Alpe-Adria (A23), with dense plantings of woodland, open lawns, a belvedere, paths and small roads, and a children's play area.

The Stadio Friuli (known for sponsorship reasons as Dacia Arena) is an all-seater football stadium in Udine, Italy, and the home of Serie A club Udinese. The stadium was built in 1976 and has a capacity of 25,144. It is sponsored by Romanian car manufacturer Dacia.

Palasport Primo Carnera is an indoor sporting arena located in Udine, Italy. The capacity of the arena is 3,850 people. It is currently home of the Pallalcesto Amatori Udine basketball team. It is named after former world heavyweight boxing champion Primo Carnera, who was born in Sequals, near Udine.The Palasport Primo Carnera will host many games of the 2017 FIBA Under-19 Women's Basketball World Cup, including the final.

Campoformido (Friulian: Cjampfuarmit) is a town and comune in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, north-eastern Italy, with a population of 7743 (December 2019). It is notable for the Treaty of Campo Formio.

The University of Udine (Italian Università degli Studi di Udine) is a university in the city of Udine, Italy. It was founded in 1978 as part of the reconstruction plan of Friuli after the earthquake in 1976. Its aim was to provide the Friulian community with an independent centre for advanced training in cultural and scientific studies and it is an important centre for the studies of Friulian language. The University is actively involved in student and staff exchange projects with universities within the European Union, Australia and Canada, and is currently engaged in close collaboration with several universities from Eastern Europe and other non-EU countries. Moreover, the University participates in many research projects at national and international level. The present number of students enrolled at the University is approximate 17,000.
