Voltago Agordino (Ladin: Oltach) is a village and comune (municipality) in the Province of Belluno, Veneto Region of Northeast Italy. It is located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) north of Venice and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 973 and an area of 23.0 square kilometres (8.9 sq mi).Voltago Agordino borders the following municipalities: Agordo, Gosaldo, Rivamonte Agordino, Taibon Agordino and Tonadico.

Taibon Agordino is a comune (municipality) in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) north of Venice and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,790 and an area of 90.4 square kilometres (34.9 sq mi).Many of the homes in Taibon have descended within families. It is common for younger generations to move out of the valley to a larger city for the purpose of building a career and subsequently return for retirement. Taibon was once populated by homesteaders who were self-sufficient, making their own dairy products, sausage, and polenta as their source of carbohydrates. Today these family homes are treasured because of the family history they represent, but also because they are adjacent to some of the best trekking, skiing, and road cycling in the world. Taibon Agordino borders the following municipalities: Agordo, Alleghe, Canale d'Agordo, Cencenighe Agordino, Gosaldo, San Tomaso Agordino, Tonadico, Voltago Agordino, Zoldo Alto.

La Valle Agordina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Venice and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,217 and an area of 48.7 square kilometres (18.8 sq mi).The municipality of La Valle Agordina contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cugnago, Fadés, Lantrago, Matten, Conaggia, Chiesa, Torsas, Gaidòn, Ronche, Ronchet, Cancellade, Noàch, Le Campe, and La Muda. The Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park (in Italian: Parco nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi) is a national park in the province of Belluno, Veneto, in the northern Italy. Established in 1988, the national park is included in the section "Pale di San Martino - San Lucano - Dolomiti Bellunesi - Vette Feltrine" of the Dolomites declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2009.

The Duran Pass (Italian: Passo Duran) (el. 1601 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites in the province of Belluno in Italy. It is situated between the municipality of La Valle Agordina and Zoldo Alto; it connects Agordo in the Cordevole valley and Pralongo in the Zoldo valley. The pass road is SS 347. There are two restaurants and a little church at the summit. The pass is regularly used on the Giro d'Italia, with the last edition to climb the Duran being the 2012 Giro. Climbing from the classic Agordo side, the climb averages 8.1% for 12.2 km, with a maximum gradient of 14%.

Cencenighe Agordino (Ladin: Zenzenìghe) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) north of Venice and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northwest of Belluno. Cencenighe Agordino borders the following municipalities: Canale d'Agordo, San Tomaso Agordino, Taibon Agordino, Vallada Agordina.

The Bellunes Alps (German: Belluneser Alpen, Italian: Prealpi Bellunesi) is the now obsolete name of a mountain range on the southern edge of the Eastern Alps. They lie in the Italian regions of Venetia and Trentino-South Tyrol. They cover the provinces of Treviso, Pordenone and part of Vicenza. The name is derived from the town of Belluno. Their highest peak is Col Nudo at 2,472 m s.l.m.. They are part of the Southern Limestone Alps, and are mainly made of the chalk limestone of the Southern Alps with summit region made of main dolomite. The Bellunes Alps used to be an independent group in the Alpine Club Classification of the Eastern Alps (AVE) and had the number 55. In 1984 they were divided; the northern part being assigned to the Dolomites, and the southern part to the Southern Carnic Alps – the latter also appeared as the Bellunes Prealps (Belluneser Voralpen) in the Partizione delle Alpi where it formed Group 55d of the Venetian Alps (55). The northern part is also called the Bellunes Dolomites or Schiara Group, after its highest peak, Monte Schiara (2,565 m s.l.m.). In 1990, the northern, dolomitic part was declare a national park: the Bellunes Dolomites National Park.

Sospirolo is a comune (municipality) in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Venice and about 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Belluno.Sospirolo has an area of 65.86km² area and a population density of 46.64 per km² with an annual population change of -0.40%(2011-2023).

Monte Civetta (3,220 m) is a prominent and major mountain of the Dolomites, in the Province of Belluno in northern Italy. Its north-west face can be viewed from the Taibon Agordino valley, and is classed as one of the symbols of the Dolomites.The mountain is thought to have been first climbed by Simeone di Silvestro in 1855, which, if true, makes it the first major Dolomite peak to be climbed. The north-western face, with its 1,000-metre-high cliff, was first climbed in 1925 by Emil Solleder and Gustl Lettenbauer. It is historically considered the first "sixth grade" in six-tier scale of alpinistic difficulties proposed by Willo Welzenbach (corresponding to 5.9). Thirty years later UIAA used this as a basis for its grading system. The famed Svan mountain climber Mikhail Khergiani died in a climbing accident on Monte Civetta in 1969.

The Giardino Alpino "Antonio Segni" (5,000 m2) is an alpine botanical garden located at 1,714 meters altitude in Refugio Vazzoler, Gruppo del Civetta, Col Negro di Pelsa, Taibon Agordino, Province of Belluno, Veneto, Italy. It is privately owned with a municipal affiliation, and open daily when Refugio Vazzoler is open. The garden was established in 1968 in the Dolomites, and named after Italian President Antonio Segni (1891-1972). Its mission is to educate hikers and the general public about the most important species of trees, shrubs, and grasses of the Alps and Dolomites, particularly those of the garden's local environment near the Massif Moiazza-Civetta. The garden consists of natural areas, man-made wetlands, and three small rock gardens. Its collections include Epilobium angustifolium, Larix decidua, Picea abies, and other alpine vegetation.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 766 and an area of 19.2 square kilometres (7.4 sq mi).The municipality of San Tomaso Agordino contains the frazione (subdivision) Pecol. San Tomaso Agordino borders the following municipalities: Alleghe, Cencenighe Agordino, Rocca Pietore, Taibon Agordino, Vallada Agordina.
