Albairate

The Visconti Castle of Abbiategrasso is a medieval castle in Abbiategrasso, Lombardy, northern Italy. It was among the first Visconti castles built according to their typical quadrangular layout. In the 14th and 15th centuries, it was one of the preferred residences of the duchesses of Milan of the Visconti and Sforza houses. Today, the castle's surviving part serves as the seat of the municipality of Abbiategrasso.

Cassinetta di Lugagnano (Lombard: Cassinetta de Lugagnan [kasiˈnɛta de lyɡaˈɲãː]) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Milan. Abbiategrasso, formerly written Abbiate Grasso (local Lombard: Biegrass [bjeˈɡras]; Milanese: Biaa [ˈbjaː]), is a comune and town in the Metropolitan City of Milan, Lombardy, northern Italy, situated in the Po valley approximately 22 kilometres (14 miles) from Milan and 38 kilometres (24 miles) from Pavia.

Vermezzo borders the following municipalities: Albairate, Gaggiano, Abbiategrasso, Gudo Visconti, Zelo Surrigone, Morimondo. Vermezzo is served by Albairate-Vermezzo railway station.

The Palazzo Brentano is a late Baroque palace on Vicolo del Ghiaccio in the town of Corbetta located in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region of Lombardy. The present larger palace at the site was designed by Francesco Croce. It was commissioned by Giuseppe Brentano, who had been made by the Austrian authorities, the Count of Caltignaga in 1715. A smaller but noble house had been owned by the Marquis Ferrante Villani Novati, and the property sold to Count Brentani in 1731. To enhance the prestige of this newly-minted aristocrat, he commissioned this more grandiose villa in the 1730s, and decoration continued until 1750, employing a number of artists who had been employed in the decoration of Palazzo Casati Dugnani and Palazzo Clerici in Milan, including Giovanni Antonio Cucchi (who painted the Apotheosis of Hercules in the central hall); Giovanni Angelo Borroni and Mattia Bortoloni; Ferdinando Porta (who painted the Marriage of Cupid and Psyche in the main hall); and Giovanni Battista Sassi.The Brentano family sold the palace in 1839. After a series of owners, the palace came to be property of tha Somaschi order in 1935. First a seminary, the palace now functions as a children's school.

Ozzero (Milanese: Voeus'ger or Oeus'ger [(ʋ)øˈzdʒeːr]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,337 and an area of 11.0 square kilometres (4.2 sq mi).The municipality of Ozzero contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Soria Vecchia and Bugo. Ozzero borders the following municipalities: Abbiategrasso and Morimondo.

Vermezzo con Zelo is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy. It was established on 8 February 2019 by the merger of the municipalities of Vermezzo and Zelo Surrigone.

Magenta (Italian pronunciation: [maˈdʒɛnta], Lombard pronunciation: [maˈdʒẽːta]) is a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Milan in Lombardy, northern Italy. It became notable as the site of the Battle of Magenta in 1859. The color magenta takes its name from the battle, most likely referring to the uniforms used by Zouave French troops. Magenta is the birthplace of Saint Gianna Beretta Molla (1922–1962) and film producer Carlo Ponti (1912–2007).
