The Corni di Canzo (en: Canzo's Horns), (also known as Còrni o Curunghèj o Culunghèj in Canzés) are a group of mountains located in the Triangolo lariano (larian triangle), to the south of Lake Como. Administratively they belong to the province of Como.

Canzo-Asso is a railway station in Italy. It is the end of the Milan–Asso railway. It is located in the northernmost part of the town of Canzo.

The Abbey of San Pietro al Monte is an small medieval monastic complex mostly dating to the 11th century, in Lombard Romanesque style, on a hill outside the town of Civate, province of Lecco, in northern Italy. Founded in 796 as a small hermitage by the Lombard king Desiderius, the complex was considerably expanded in the 11th century, and then left alone in terms of major building and decorating. It was secularized in the aftermath of the French Revolution. Its 11th-century features remain very largely intact, including many frescos and carved reliefs. In 2016 it was added to the "tentative" list to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as part of a group of eight Italian medieval Benedictine monasteries, representing "The cultural landscape of the Benedictine settlements in medieval Italy".

It is the last town north of the historical Brianza region of Lombardy, capital of the Lake Como Triangle community and a regional tourism destination. Monte Moregallo is a mountain of Lombardy, Italy, with an elevation of 1,276 metres (4,186 ft). It is located in the Comasche Prealps, in the Province of Lecco, between Valmadrera and Mandello del Lario.Moregallo forms the eastern corner of the Larian Triangle, and is located between Lake Como and the Corni di Canzo. It has three faces, the wooded northern face and the more rugged southern and eastern faces.The peak can be reached through a long, difficult hike from Valmadrera and Mandello del Lario.

Aero Trasporti Italiani Flight 460 was a scheduled passenger flight between Milan Linate Airport in Milan, Italy and Cologne Bonn Airport in Cologne, Germany on 15 October 1987. The flight was operated by Aero Trasporti Italiani (ATI), a subsidiary of Alitalia, using an ATR-42 turboprop aircraft. Icing conditions existed at the time and fifteen minutes after takeoff, while climbing through FL147 (14,700 feet (4,500 m)) in IAS hold mode (constant speed set at 133 knots (246 km/h; 153 mph)) the aircraft rolled left and right before crashing nose down into a 700-metre-high (2,300 ft) mountain following an uncontrolled descent. All 37 onboard the aircraft were killed.

Rezzago borders the following municipalities: Asso, Caglio, Caslino d'Erba.
