Canton Operation

Sun Yat-sen University Station (Chinese: 中大站; pinyin: Zhōngdà Zhàn; Jyutping: zung1daai6 zaam6) is a station on Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro that started operations on 28 June 2003. It is located under Xingang Road West (新港西路) and Lixin Road (立新路) in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou. Its name is derived from the nearby Sun Yat-sen University.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

Lujiang Station (Chinese: 鹭江站) is a station on Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro that started operation on 28 June 2003. It is located under Xingang Road West (新港西路) and Xiadu Road (下渡路) in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

Lingnan University (simplified Chinese: 岭南大学; traditional Chinese: 嶺南大學; pinyin: Lǐngnán Dàxué) in Guangzhou (Canton), China, was a private university established by a group of American missionaries in 1888. At its founding it was named Canton Christian College (格致書院). When the Communist government reorganized China's higher education in the Soviet model in 1952, Lingnan University's engineering departments were incorporated into the newly established South China Institute of Technology (now South China University of Technology), and the rest of the school was incorporated into Sun Yat-sen University. Lingnan College was reestablished in 1988 within Sun Yat-sen University. Some members of the university moved to Hong Kong and founded the Lingnan School in Wan Chai in 1967, which was relocated to Tuen Mun in the mid-1990s and renamed Lingnan University in 1999.

Xiaogang station (Chinese: 晓港站) is a station on Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro that started operation on 29 December 2002. It is located under Changgang Road East in Haizhu District.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

Guangdong Institute of Education (simplified Chinese: 广东教育学院; traditional Chinese: 廣東教育學院; pinyin: Guǎngdōng jiàoyù xuéyuàn) is a provincial higher education institution based in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, China.

Dongxiaonan Station (simplified Chinese: 东晓南站; traditional Chinese: 東曉南站; Jyutping: dung1 hiu2 naam4 zaam6; Cantonese Yale: Dūnghíu Nàahm Jaahm; lit. 'Dongxiao South Station'), formerly Dongxiao Nanlu Station (东晓南路站; 東曉南路站; dung1 hiu2 naam4 lou6 zaam6; 'Dongxiao Road South Station') while in planning, is a metro station on Line 2 of the Guangzhou Metro. The underground station is located at the junction of Dongxiao Road South (东晓南路) and Qiaogang Road (侨港路) in the Haizhu District.

The American International School of Guangzhou (AISG, Chinese: 广州美国人国际学校)) is a non-profit, independent, multicultural, and co-educational day school for international students from preschool to grade 12. It is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, with an Elementary School campus on Ersha Island, Yuexiu District and a Secondary School campus in Science Park, Huangpu District (formerly Luogang District). It is South China's oldest international school, having opened in 1981. AISG provides a global curriculum based on American educational standards and principles.

Xinjiao Town (Chinese: 新滘镇; pinyin: Xīnjiào zhèn; Jyutping: San1gaau3 zan3) is a town in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. The town is known for its orchards, which produce fruits such as star-fruit, pomegranate, banana, papaya, orange, and litchi. Like many neighboring communities, it is also noted for its canals, which are incorporated into the design of parts of the city, abutting houses and bridges, which date back as far as the Ming Dynasty (1279–1644). Several Qing Dynasty (1644–1911) temples are also located in the area. These features make the town a popular attraction for tourists.

Jiangtai Lu Station (Chinese: 江泰路站; Jyutping: gong1 taai3 lou6 zaam6; Cantonese Yale: Gōngtaai Louh Jaahm; lit. 'Jiangtai Road Station') is a metro station on Line 2 of the Guangzhou Metro. The underground station is located at the junction of Jiangnan Avenue (江南大道) and Jiangtai Road (江泰路) in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou.

Kecun Station (Chinese: 客村站; Cantonese Yale: Haakchyūn Jaahm) is an interchange station between Lines 3 and 8 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 June 2003. It is located at the underground of Kecun Village in Haizhu District.Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.

Changgang Station (simplified Chinese: 昌岗站; traditional Chinese: 昌崗站; Jyutping: coeng1 gong1 zaam6; Cantonese Yale: Chēunggōng Jaahm) is an interchange station of Line 2 and Line 8 on the Guangzhou Metro. The underground station is located at the intersection of Changgang Road and Jiangnan Avenue in Haizhu District. It started operation on 25 September 2010.At its first operation day of the station, the number of passenger frequency was over 220,000, so traffic control was needed at the platforms of Line 2.

Ersha Island, formerly Napier Island in English, is an island in the Yuexiu District of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. It houses the American International School of Guangzhou elementary school campus, several apartment complexes, a badminton stadium, and a government sports training facility. Ersha Island is also home to the Guangdong Museum of Art and the Xinghai Concert Hall. It also contains several small parks: Chuanqi, Hong Cheng, Ershadao Sports Park, and Guangzhou Fazhan Park.
