Orsières is a municipality in the district of Entremont in the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

It is located on the standard gauge Martigny–Orsières line of Transports de Martigny et Régions, at the point where the line splits, with branches going to Le Châble and Orsières.

Champex (French pronunciation: [ʃɑ̃pe]; also Champex-Lac) is a village located in the French-speaking Swiss canton of Valais, part of the municipality of Orsières. The village lies at 1,470 metres on the shore of Lac de Champex, at the foot of the Mont Blanc Massif. It is a starting point for many hikes into the surrounding mountains and huts (La Breya, Cabane du Trient, Le Catogne). Champex is also a small ski resort. The Champex Pass is located a few hundred metres west of Champex.

The Six Blanc is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, overlooking Orsières in the canton of Valais. It lies at the northern end of the chain separating the valley of Entremont from the valley of Bagnes, culminating at the Grand Combin.

Champex Pass (French: "Col de Champex") (el. 1470 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Alps in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. It is near the village of Champex-Lac.
