The Former Church of St Mary, Wythall is a Grade II listed redundant parish church in the Church of England in Wythall, Worcestershire.

Wythall miniature railway is a dual-gauge miniature railway in the grounds of The Transport Museum, Wythall in England. It is operated and maintained by Elmdon Model Engineering Society (EMES)

The Transport Museum, Wythall is a transport museum just outside Birmingham, at Chapel Lane, Wythall, Worcestershire, England. The museum was originally run by the charity The Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Trust (BaMMOT). BaMMOT was formed in 1977 and the museum site was acquired in February 1978. The museum has three halls, presenting a significant collection of preserved buses and coaches, including Midland Red and Birmingham City Transport vehicles, a collection of battery electric vehicles such as milk floats, and a Tilling-Stevens petrol-electric bus. In 2016 the Trust became a CIO charity called Transport Museum Wythall (TMW), registered number 1167872 It is also home to the Elmdon Model Engineering Society (EMES) who operate the Wythall miniature railway within the grounds of the transport museum, giving rides to public on miniature steam trains.

Woodrush High School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the parish of Wythall in the English county of Worcestershire.Woodrush High School offers GCSEs, BTECs and Cambridge Nationals as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and further BTECs. As of 2018, the school also started enrolling higher ability students onto the Mandarin Excellence programme. As of the most recent Ofsted inspection published in January 2019, the school has 1002 enrolled pupils, 96 of whom are in the Sixth Form. In this inspection the school were graded overall 'good' with 'outstanding' leadership and management and 'outstanding' behaviour.

Hollywood is a large village predominantly located in the Bromsgrove district of Worcestershire, England, almost contiguous with and to the south of the city of Birmingham. Hollywood was formerly part of Kings Norton, but when Birmingham expanded in 1911, Hollywood remained in Worcestershire. The village now lies across the wards of Hollywood, most of Drakes Cross, the Trueman's Heath polling district area of Trueman's Heath parish ward and, following a 1966 border change, the southern portion of the Birmingham Highter's Heath ward, with all but the latter being located within the civil parish of Wythall. The southern part of the village is also known as Drakes Cross, whilst the eastern part is sometimes referred to as Trueman's Heath. Hollywood is situated in the extreme northeastern corner of Worcestershire, 8.5 miles / 13 km south of Birmingham city centre, 6 miles / 9.5 km west-southwest of Solihull and 8 miles / 12.5 km northeast of Redditch.

Wythall railway station serves the village of Wythall in Worcestershire, England. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by West Midlands Trains. Although situated just outside the West Midlands county, the station lies within the area supported by Transport for West Midlands given its proximity to Tidbury Green, and therefore TfWM-issued tickets for train travel are valid for travel to the station. TfWM-issued bus tickets are not valid. London Midland closed the ticket office in 2011.The station opened as Grimes Hill Platform on 1 July 1908. It then became Grimes Hill & Wythall Halt on 12 July 1914; Grimes Hill and Wythall Platform on 11 July 1927; the suffix was dropped on 9 July 1934 and it finally became Wythall on 6 May 1974.

Earlswood railway station is located on the western fringe of the village of Earlswood on the West Midlands/Warwickshire border in England. The platforms straddle the county border, with the approach road on the West Midlands side. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by West Midlands Trains. Originally opened as Earlswood Lakes in mid-1908, the station was renamed Earlswood on 6 May 1974 despite being located next to the settlement of Foreshaw Heath and The Lakes railway station being located closer to Earlswood village.

Highter's Heath (often Highters Heath) is a district and ward lying on the southern boundary of the city of Birmingham, UK. The district of Highter's Heath lies immediately east of the Maypole. The first recorded use of the name dates from 1495 as Heyters Heath, however today the name is not one that is particularly in widespread use, indeed only three signposted references to the name exist, when entering the city along Maypole Lane, when entering the city from the bottom of Highters Heath Lane and in Major's Green.South of Maypole Lane the area is often referred to as Hollywood, after the adjacent village in Worcestershire, whilst to the north the boundary with Warstock (and the wider B14 moniker of Kings Heath) is undefined. The area includes Daisy Farm Park. Immanuel is the local parish church, behind which is located the local primary school. This is called Hollywood Primary School, so named because not only did the school open well after Highters Heath School, located at the far end of Highters Heath Lane in Warstock, but also because when the school was first proposed in the 1960s the city boundary still ran along Maypole Lane.Maypole Lane is served by National Express West Midlands bus routes 2 & 49 whilst Alcester Road South is served by bus no. 150 and Glenavon Road and the upper part of Highters Heath Lane are served by bus no. 27. Bus route 50 additionally serves the Maypole. Highter's Heath, as part of the reorganisation of local government in Birmingham, was made a single councillor electoral ward in May 2018 and includes Highter's Heath, Warstock, Maypole, and part of Yardley Wood. Adam Higgs of the Conservative Party UK was elected as the councillor for Highter's Heath on 7 May 2018, a position he retained on 5 May 2022. As part of the Birmingham Selly Oak Constituency, Highter's Heath is represented in the British Parliament by Steve McCabe of the Labour Party UK.

The Baverstock Academy (formerly Baverstock Foundation School and Specialist Sports College) was a mixed secondary school and sixth form college, located on the southern edge of the Birmingham outer city ward of Druids Heath. Due to its outstanding sports facilities, it became one of the first to gain Specialist Sports College status in September 2002 before the Specialist Schools initiative was discontinued but then became a member of the Specialist Schools Trust. Baverstock also held Artsmark Gold, Schools Achievement and Sportsmark awards. With many past students representing Great Britain in many sporting competitions. The school was also a TEEP Training School and part of the National Literacy Trust programme. The school was placed in special measures after an "inadequate" inspection result in September 2014. An inspection in February 2016 concluded that special measures should continue although Ofsted in June 2016 stated the school was 'substantially' making improvements to the removal of special measures status. The academy was awarded The Good Schools Guide accreditation in 2016 for better performance by Boys taking Engineering at GCSE level than at any other Comprehensive School in England.The school closed in 2017 and was demolished in November 2020.

The Maypole, Birmingham is a location on the A435 road on the southern edge of Birmingham England, between Druids Heath and Highter's Heath and bordering the Bromsgrove district of Worcestershire. It has a population of 2.260 according to the 2011 Census.

Druids Heath is a large housing estate in southern Birmingham, England covering the south-west quadrant of the B14 postcode (west of the Maypole). Primarily known for the large council estate in the Brandwood ward of south Birmingham. The estate is situated on former farmland on the southern edge of Bells Lane with Druids Lane forming the eastern, southern and western border. When first planned, it was known as Bells Lane Phases 1 and 2 and was part of wider postwar plans for the development of the area to accommodate the growing population of the city. Nearby settlements include Kings Heath and Kings Norton; it used to be part of them. Part of Druids Heath was ranked as the most deprived area in Birmingham and in the top 50 most deprived areas in the country in the 2019 Multiple deprivation index.

Tidbury Green is a village and civil parish within the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull in the county of West Midlands in England. The population of the civil parish as taken at the 2011 census was 1,130.Historically, Tidbury Green belonged to the county of Warwickshire. At the beginning of the 20th century, the area was Tidbury Green Farm. It was owned by H. A. W. (Henry Aylesbury Walker) Aylesbury, having passed into his hands from the ownership of the Roberts family in the 1700s and early 1800s. The estate was sold in 1918 after Aylesbury's death, an example of land redistribution caused by the First World War.After the Second World War it had a thriving Vegetable Growers Association. In 1995 a new school replacing the former dilapidated buildings at Tidbury Green School, was built, including a village hall, which is a centre used for many different local groups and clubs.
