Saucebox was an Asian fusion restaurant and bar in Portland, Oregon. Restaurateur Bruce Carey and chef Chris Israel opened Saucebox in 1995. The restaurant closed permanently in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mary's Club is the oldest strip club in Portland, Oregon, and among the oldest in the United States. In 1954, Roy Keller bought the business from Mary Duerst Hemming, who owned and operated Mary's as a piano bar beginning in the 1930s. Keller initially hired go-go dancers as entertainment during the piano player's breaks, later hiring them full-time because of their popularity. Topless dancers wearing pasties were introduced in 1955. The club also featured comics, musicians, singers and other acts. All-nude dancing began in 1985, after a judicial ruling against City of Portland ordinances banning it in venues which served alcohol. Former strippers include Courtney Love and Christine Jorgensen, although the club is known for its longtime dancers who are loyal to the family business. Since Keller's death in 2006, Mary's Club has been owned and operated by his daughter Vicki. A Portland institution, it has been included in several strip-club "best of" lists and its neon sign is considered a landmark. The club has appeared in several films, including Bongwater (1997) and Brainsmasher... A Love Story (1993), and has been included in walking tours of the city.

Cart Blocks is a food cart pod in Portland, Oregon's Ankeny Square, in the United States. The pod opened in 2021, following closure of the Alder Street food cart pod in 2019. The city hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the pod's opening.

Ankeny Square is part of the North Park Blocks in Portland, Oregon. The square is south of Burnside Street. One local reporter described it as "a little nub of SW Ankeny Street between Broadway and Park".In 2014, the square was home to a food cart pod called "Grubbin'". The pod emerged from plans by Portland Parks & Recreation (PPR) to revitalize the square. In 2016, Amanda Waldroupe of Street Roots said the park, "for decades, has had a seedy reputation and attracted drug use, loitering and vandalism, as it fell into neglect and disrepair". PPR also announced plans to start accepting business proposals, and proposals for community projects. The square began hosting the Cart Blocks in 2021, following closure of the Alder Street food cart pod.

The Benson Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton is a 287-room historic hotel building in downtown Portland, Oregon, United States. It is owned and operated by Coast Hotels & Resorts. It was originally known as the New Oregon Hotel, and is commonly known as "The Benson". It has a reputation as one of Portland's finest hotels. The hotel is named after notable businessman and philanthropist Simon Benson. The Benson is the seventh largest hotel in Portland based on the number of rooms.The lobby features a piano bar.

Grits n' Gravy is a Southern restaurant in Portland, Oregon. Chef Brandon Stevens opened the restaurant in December 2021, in the space that previously housed Little Bird Bistro.

The Wells Fargo Building is a historic office building in downtown Portland, Oregon, United States. The large doorstep at the building's entryway required the largest slab of granite ever shipped to Portland at the time. Completed in 1907, the steel-framed building is considered the city's first true skyscraper. At 12 stories and with a height of 182 feet (55 m), it was the tallest building in Portland (and indeed in all of Oregon), exclusive of towers, and remained so for four years. The clock tower of the 1892-completed Oregonian Building, which measured 194 feet (59 m) in height, made that building the tallest in the city overall.In 1946, the building was purchased by the United States National Bank of Portland, whose headquarters was located in a smaller building located directly adjacent, immediately to the south. U.S. National Bank used the Wells Fargo Building to expand its downtown Portland headquarters.In 1986, the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Da Tung and Xi'an Bao Bao ("Universal Peace and Baby Elephant" in English), is an outdoor 2002 bronze sculpture, located at the North Park Blocks in downtown Portland, Oregon, United States. The sculptor is unknown. It is part of the City of Portland and Multnomah County Public Art Collection courtesy of the Regional Arts & Culture Council.

The United States National Bank Building in downtown Portland, Oregon was designed by A. E. Doyle in a Roman classical style, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The four-story building's first section, facing Sixth Avenue, was completed and opened in 1917. The building features a four-story Corinthian colonnade at its eastern end (originally the principal façade) and makes extensive use of glazed terracotta. The interior is also decorated extensively with highly textured materials. The building was constructed for the United States National Bank of Portland (USNB), which ultimately became part of U.S. Bancorp, whose retail banking division operates as U.S. Bank. An extension westward to Broadway was added in 1925, approximately doubling the building's size such that it now occupies half a city block. It continues to serve as the bank's main branch in the city.
