Wadi Zahr

ʽAlman (Arabic: علمان ʽAlmān), also ʽUlman, is a village in Bani al-Harith District of Amanat al-Asimah Governorate, Yemen. It is located on the northern side of the lower end of the Wadi Dahr.

Thaqban (Arabic: ثقبان Thaqbān) is a village in Bani al-Harith District of Amanat al-Asimah Governorate, Yemen. It is located just south of the point where the Wadi Zahr opens out onto the Sanaa plain. It is part of the 'uzlah of Qaryat al-Qabil.

Qaryat al-Qabil (Arabic: قرية القابل Qaryat al Qābil), often called simply al-Qaryah, is a village in Bani al-Harith District of Amanat al-Asimah Governorate, Yemen. It is the largest settlement in the Wadi Zahr area.

The Dar al-Hajar (Arabic: دار الحجر, "Stone House" or "Rock Palace") is a former royal palace located in Wadi Dhar about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from Sanaa, Yemen. Built in 1920 as the summer retreat of Yahya Muhammad Hamid ed-Din, Imam of Yemen from 1904 to 1948, it sits on top of a structure built in 1786 for the scholar al-Imam Mansour. The royal family resided in the palace until the North Yemen Civil War. The palace is currently a museum.

Jadar (Arabic: جدر), also transliterated as Jidr or Jadir, is a village in Bani al-Harith District of Amanat al-Asimah Governorate, Yemen. It consists of two parts, Jidr al-A‘la and Jidr al-Asfal.

Dhahaban (Arabic: ذهبان Dhahabān), also Dhahban, is a town in Yemen, located on the outskirts of the capital Sanaa in Bani al-Harith District of Amanat al-Asimah Governorate. It is on the Sanaa plain, a bit south of the point where the Wadi Zahr opens out onto the plain. Before 2015, Dhahaban's power station was the main source of power in the Sanaa metro area, although the city's main supplier of electricity was the power plant in Ma'rib.

Sanaa International School was an international school on the edge of the city of Sanaa, Yemen, serving ages 2–18.The school's operations were suspended in 2015. By the end of the 2014-15 school year the school was no longer able to keep foreign staff in Yemen due to the civil strife, and the school was placed on hold for the 2015-16 school year. Subsequently, an air strike on the night of 29 December 2015 destroyed the school’s dome building. The resulting fire then destroyed the surrounding classrooms, effectively destroying half the school campus. It was a nonprofit organization founded in 1971. It provided an English language education, primarily to the children of embassy and United Nations personnel and international workers such as oil and gas businesses. It also educated many Yemeni students planning to enter western universities. The school taught pre-school – Grade 12 levels. As of 2013 it had a total enrollment of some 73 students from over 11 nationalities, down from a peak of over 200 a decade earlier due to the deteriorating security situation in the years leading up to the Saudi led multinational coalition intervention in 2015. The school had to deal with the political crisis in Yemen, with an average of 16 students leaving since 2011. Sanaa International School was the only accredited school in the whole of Yemen and had been accredited by the US-based Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools since 1983. Sanaa International School was part of Quality Schools International.

Al-Thawra Sports City Stadium (Arabic: مدينة الثورة الرياضية), also known as the Ali Mohsen al-Muraisi Stadium (Arabic: ملعب علي محسن المريسي), is a multi-purpose stadium in San‘a’, Yemen. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium had a capacity of 30,000 people before bombings and it opened in 1986. It is currently the home ground of the Yemen national football team.During the Saudi Arabian-led intervention in Yemen at the Yemen War, the stadium was destroyed by a Saudi Arabian's air strike. In 2016, the stadium suffered bomb damage again.

Sanaa International Airport (IATA: SAH, ICAO: OYSN) is the primary international airport of Yemen located in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen. It services Sanaa City as well as the entire population of the northern provinces of Yemen. Initially, a small passenger terminal was built in the 1970s. The runway is shared with the large Al-Dailami Air Base.

al-Dailami Air Base is an air base in Yemen. It is located 15 km north of the city of Sana'a and shares the runway with Sana'a International Airport.

Ath'thaorah District is a district of the Amanat Al Asimah Governorate, Yemen. As of 2003, the district had a population of 170,145 inhabitants.

Ar-Rawdah (Arabic: الروضة ar-Rawḍah), known historically as Rawdat al-Hatim, is a large village located 12km north of Sanaa in Bani al-Harith District of Amanat al-Asimah Governorate, Yemen.
