Rione Alto station

The Cangiani Chapel or Cappella Cangiani is a modern Roman Catholic church in Rione Alto, on via Mariano Semmola in the quartiere Arenella of Naples, Italy.

Policlinico is a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro. It was opened on 28 May 1993 as part of the inaugural section of Naples Metro, between Vanvitelli and Colli Aminei. The station is located between Rione Alto and Colli Aminei.

Arenella is a quarter of Naples, southern Italy. It is on the Vomero hill above the city and was, 300 meters in elevation. Many years ago was considered a place to go to "get away from it all." It is near to the main hospital section of the city, set somewhat higher, on the way up to the Hermitage of Camaldoli. It has some points of historic interest, such as the presence of the workshop of Giambattista della Porta.

Montedonzelli is a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro. It was opened on 28 May 1993 as part of the inaugural section of Naples Metro, between Vanvitelli and Colli Aminei. The station is located between Medaglie d'Oro and Rione Alto.

The Istituto di Genetica e Biofisica (IGB) (Institute of Genetics and Biophysics) is an integral part of the institutes of the Italian Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (National Research Council). It was founded in 1962 in Naples by the Italian geneticist Adriano Buzzati-Traverso and called Laboratorio Internazionale di Genetica e Biofisica (LIGB) (International Laboratory of Genetics and Biophysics). In 1968 the Laboratory came under the full control of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, changing its name to the Istituto Internazionale di Genetica e Biofisica (IIGB) (International Institute of Genetics and Biophysics). Successively it assumed its present name of Istituto di Genetica e Biofisica.

Colli Aminei is a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro. It was opened on 28 May 1993 as the northern terminus of the inaugural section of Naples Metro, between Vanvitelli and Colli Aminei. On 19 July 1995, the line was extended to Piscinola, and Colli Aminei ceased to be the terminus. The station is located between Policlinico and Frullone.

Santa Maria del Soccorso all’Arenella is a parish church, located in the Piazzetta Arenella in the Rione of Arenella of Naples, Italy. Tradition holds that this church was the parish church for Salvatore Rosa in Naples.

Medaglie d'Oro is a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro. It was opened on 28 May 1993 as part of the inaugural section of Naples Metro, between Vanvitelli and Colli Aminei. The station is located between Vanvitelli and Montedonzelli.Built between 1980s and 1990s on a project by Michele Capobianco and Daniele Zagaria, the station serves the area of Piazza Medaglie d'Oro. The station, present in the Arenella district, is the one at the lowest altitude of the four present in the district, as well as the closest to the border with the Vomero district. The station has six exits (originally there were seven, then the one placed in the central flowerbed was buried in the 2010s) located in the square above, plus five lifts (from NA 010 to NA 014) for the handicapped. Inside the station, the platforms are served by two platforms.

Stadio Arturo Collana is a football stadium in Naples, Italy; it is located in the Vomero area of the city. The stadium was built in the latter part of the 1920s, originally under the name Stadio XXVIII Ottobre.

Quattro Giornate is a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro. It was opened on 5 April 2001 as part of the section the line between Vanvitelli and Museo. The station is located between Vanvitelli and Salvator Rosa.

Salvator Rosa is a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro. It was opened on 5 April 2001 as part of the section the line between Vanvitelli and Museo. The station is located between Quattro Giornate and Materdei. Materdei station was added to the line on 5 July 2003, and before that date, the adjacent station was Museo.The station is named after the neighboring street, Via Salvator Rosa, which in turn is named after the painter Salvator Rosa.

San Gennaro al Vomero is a Neoclassic-style church, located on the corner of via Solimena and via Giovanni Bernini, near the piazza Vanvitelli in Naples, Italy. In part due to the 19th century urban renewal of Naples, the parish of San Gennaro al Vomero was established by Cardinal Guglielmo Sanfelice in this new reclaimed areas, and serve part of what had been the parish of Santa Maria del Soccorso all'Arenella. The architect was Luigi Bottino and the engineer Andrea Taglialatela. Construction began in 1892. The church was damaged during the 1930 earthquake and restored by 1931. Similar fate occurred after the 1980 earthquake, but restoration was slower.
